Liverpool FC continues to cement its status as one of football’s most commercially progressive clubs, and the latest announcement from Anfield has sent shockwaves through both the sporting and fashion worlds.
In a move that perfectly encapsulates the modern intersection of football culture and high-end lifestyle branding, Liverpool FC has officially announced a landmark global partnership with American fashion powerhouse Tommy Hilfiger.
The brand has signed a multi-year agreement that will see it provide outfits for Liverpool’s men’s and women’s teams for the foreseeable future. Hilfiger will also roll out a range of curated capsule collections and themed seasonal campaigns as part of the deal.
The collaboration is being described as a “first-of-its-kind” deal that will see the iconic American fashion label become the club’s exclusive fashion partner. The partnership will see Tommy Hilfiger’s signature modern American classics worn by both men’s and women’s first-team squads, as well as key backroom staff, across campaigns and select matchdays.
Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at LFC, said: “Tommy Hilfiger is a truly iconic name in global fashion, and we’re absolutely delighted to partner with them as they venture into the world of club football for the first time.
“With a long-standing connection to innovative style and a deep-rooted sense of community, this partnership is a natural fit. This unique collaboration allows us to explore a different side of matchday and the moments around it, while giving supporters another connection point to the people who represent this great club.”
Meanwhile, Tommy Hilfiger said: “For my entire career I’ve been inspired by sports icons, stories and uniforms. I am drawn to teams with deep fan heritage and value-driven storytelling, and Liverpool Football Club has an unmatched history shaped by its people – their belief, resilience and pride.
“I’m excited to work with the players and club staff who inspire a global fan base to dream through their uncompromising pursuit of greatness.”
