      There’s only one move going forward. It’s an extreme one and has a risk of tearing apart the fabric of the team. But at this point, not sure a complete reset isn’t required anyway.

      Strip captaincy from Romero and name Davies captain and start him every game until he literally cannot go anymore. This team isn’t devoid of talent. They are devoid of confidence, calm, level-headed, weathered leadership.

      ‘Threatened positivity’? The positivity has been wiped out in less the six months. We won the Europe League with a decimated squad. Surely, our PL performance was disastrous, but mind the circumstances. Nonetheless, there was a lot of positivity and good vibes, and a promise of good, entertaining football. Some argue that our PL position warranted the sacking of Ange. I am not one of them. I think that building around what we had in the summer would have brought around improvement, especially if we managed to sign a very good ball-progressing midfielder with vision. But here we are. And I think the way we play is just, well, sad. In fact it so sad, that I do not even care about this transfer window. Right now, alI want to see is that we dare to play a football that is worthy of our club.

      I wonder if we will be seeing Danso on Saturday and Romero out the team courtesy of the board.

      We make a UCL final, and it all falls to shit instead of looking to capitalise on it, and the same again after winning Europa League. Just crazy how we can take a step forward only to take two back.

      Many are saying it, we all see it, things are just so bad right now within this club that it’s just not gonna be fixed by one or two new signings and a couple of sales. Flipping the manager won’t do it, as we’ve seen many times. It’s all fucked up!

      That’s not to say Frank is the right/wrong man. But these meme-worthy slip ups like that cup, ‘Eze who’ while handing him the easiest game of his life, and so on. Just all adds to the mess.

      We need a thorough overhaul throughout the entire club.
