Joao Felix has been linked with a move to Aston Villa ahead of the 2024/25 season. Stevie Nicol says a transfer for Felix is risky due to his inconsistency regardless of his talents and skills. Felix has played for Benfica, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, and Barcelona and was tipped to be a huge star when was a teenager. #shorts #football #soccer #barcelona #atleticomadrid #astonvilla #felix #algorithm

  1. needs to maybe put his ego aside if thats an issue and go back to portugal for couple of seasons and mature and find consistsnacy n confidence then im sure a top italian club or a decent european team will come knocking again when he has become more complete as a player n probably as a person…but there is talent there its obvious but just needs to find somewhere it can be moulded properly

  2. Joao Felix is class.. he just need the right sistem and a team that works for him.. he never had that. Just like James and a few others that allways need to play in wrong systems..

  3. Literally only discussing this with my brother the other day he was telling me he was linked to United or spurs or something and we’re United fans and I said he’s garbage and over rated and has hints of talent but is too inconsistent to be a top player I think he’d be a world class championship player or maybe needs to be like a Matt le tissier type of player at a smaller club where he’s just the out and out most important guy. Maybe Fulham would be a good fit

  4. The thing with Joao Felix is that I always feel like if he gets put in a team that is built to get the best out of him and not a team where they slot him in because they think he can do a job, then he could be devastating and consistent. Problem is he’s not making those moves. He’s linked with a move to Aston Villa and while I think he’ll do ok there, they aren’t building their team around him

  5. he would thrive under Pep, who would desinflate that melon head in a minute. then he could be great. he has to stabilize himself in a club, not being on loan and change all the time.

  6. Felix like many young talents – needs the right coach and environment and full backing (Potter killed him…whereas Ancelotti could easily get the best out of him)

  7. Is this clown ever right? Felix is in the 95+ percentile for wingers/attacking mids for goals and goal scoring chances

The scary thing is even with that elite production it looks like he’s barely scratching the surface
