  1. Ah yes… Romero calling out the board again ffs

This is just such a mess, how can the club be so quiet?? Surely they have to at least say something?

  2. Holy fuck. That’s the club captain attacking the board. Madness

We are a broken club. Deeply deeply broken.

    Capitano 🫡

If this is them giving their all, none of them are good enough. 1.28 points per game after half a season with Frank. 1 point per game after a full season last year with Ange.

    It is not good enough.

How often do captains shit talk ownership at other clubs? Or is ours just uniquely a mess in this way?

  5. He’s obviously referring to the board and members of the executive suite. As bad as Frank has been, I completely agree that most of the blame has to fall on club leadership for their years of poor decision-making and mismanagement.

  6. See Cuti, that’s how you channel your frustration into productivity! Why two foot a player when metaphorically two footing the board will do? 😂

  7. Was just about to go to sleep, knowing that nothing else can come out of this crazy day, and then Capitano Cuti is calling out the higher ups. Never change Spurs

  8. I really don’t understand what he means by this. The board should give a press conference? To explain what? Firing Ange or hiring Frank? Levy already left. What would it do? I’m just not sure what he’s implying from the vagueposting.

Maybe the medical staff? I know he has beef with them after he specifically thanked the Argentine medics for his recovery last season.

Regardless, he chose to sign a new contract (although I reckon there’s a release clause) so these shadowy figures can’t be that evil.

Last year, Ange purposely deflected the criticism away from the players onto himself. It’s why the players played for him, despite the results, injuries, and PL standing.

    This year it’s different.

Frank’s uncharismatic pressers and not backing his players publicly, players walking off the field before the applause, players arguing against with our fans, plainly there is something wrong chemistry-wise in the club.

You can see the frustration bubbling under the surface everywhere, Frank, the players, the fans. It’s not good.

  10. Usually I hate Romero’s complaining, but it’s necessary this time. We saw from United and Chelsea, these clubs don’t take managers seriously when they say what they need, they just sack them. This message HAS to come from Romero because they’re not gonna just sack him and lose the re-sale value.

How all it took was Levy getting sacked was 90% of this fanbase to go from ENIC Out to “give it some time, it’s a total rebuild” is insane. They really had no control over anything Levy did for 20 years? At no point, if they want more money to be spent, they couldn’t have told Levy, “hey, you don’t need to have that wage cap, we’re willing to fit the bill”. You people truly believe that? Truly? Levy was holding the club hostage for 20 years till the Lewis Family finally found the strength to say “enough is enough” and sack him? Even though Levy himself explained why he had to be so frugal is because even he didn’t trust that if something went wrong the people above him would be willing to foot the bill? You all seriously believed that?

I get it. We were so quick to sell Johnson, who the players loved and was our top scorer and scored the most important goal of the season, the first day in the window. And Kudus is now out for a seemingly long time.

Yet when it comes to reinforcing, last winter window, it took Vicario getting a multiple month injury to get a player in and when Ange had Gray and Dragusin at CB we waited until the end of the window to bring in Danso and Tel.

We had news of a huge war chest and we sold Johnson and Son and all we’re linked with is more kids when we should be targeting players that want to prove themselves before the world cup, with the draw of champions league while we have it.

I genuinely love this man. I’m so happy he’s our captain 🤍 (and still playing for us 😂)
