A chess club takes place every Tuesday afternoon at The Ludo Lounge in Southbourne Grove from 2.30pm until 5pm.
A spokesperson said: “If you want to play and maybe make new friends then our Tuesday afternoon chess club might interest you.
“We play in a relaxed, friendly setting in Southbourne Grove.
“You’ll meet like-minded people and get the chance to improve your game if you want to.
They added: “It doesn’t matter if you’re new to chess or you’ve been playing for years. You’ll find players of all levels here.
“You can join us any Tuesday afternoon. All equipment is supplied but you are welcome to bring your own.”
It’s free to play chess but people will need to buy their own drinks and food.
