  1. He loved Bayern because it was his only chance to play for a top club. He is not good enough for that level

What miss lol, I liked the idea of him, but his skills and his expectations were worlds apart. I have only understood what low performing players we have had after we got Olise and then Diaz. Those boys are the real thing, like you can pass to them and they will make smth happen other than just run head on to the opposite players and either lose the ball or pass it immediately back. If he doesn’t make a big jump we clearly robbed Tottenham with his sale.

I just noticed, they sold him with BIG profit to Spurs in addition to that previous Loan Fee.

People forget he cost 20 Million, which is insanely expensive for a guy who had no scorers in 10 pro games before he came to Bayern (I do not care about his youth team record those dont necessarily transfer to the pros). He then looked like a decent sub in a team playing horrendous and therefore looked ok in comparison. Then people massively overhyped him, he wasnt loaned out when and where he should have been, then he was loaned out when and where he shouldn’t have been and predictably wasn’t very good.

Yes his ambition and loyalty was great. But in terms of football he was absolutely mediocre and is nowhere Bayern level. I wish for him that he can succed elsewhere.

I also don’t buy the “Oh but he has so much talent” thing. He is physically fit and a decent player of the bench, but I don’t really see anything beyond that.

If you’re upset that Karl recognizes that Real Madrid is the biggest pull in global football, stop acting like a petulant child with foolish posts like this and just see yourself out.
