I find it no coincidence that a change of our first-team goalkeeper coach in July prefaced a rise in form to former levels in Areola.
Iβve always loved him and I agree Anton, heβs been excellent this season, we need him between the sticks. Nuno, as a goalkeeper himself, has got him punching the ball out and kicking those long balls, Nuno has given Areola confidence.
Is it me or is the audio slightly out?
Areola has officially taken on the Fabianski mantle: first name on the team sheet, regularly makes point saving saves, now governing the box from corners and set pieces. Hard to fault him for a few months now.
Been great since nuno took over and since we changed goal keeper coach. Do feel he needs to catch more rather than parry or punch also feel his distribution still needs working on. That said he has been outstanding of late. Long may it continue

Areola is thriving under Nuno. I think Potter didn't like him, but Potter turned out to be the worst manager in West Ham's history. Areola is brilliant, I preferred him slightly over Fabianski, but Fabianski was also amazing.
I've never doubted him, great shot stopper and makes some amazing saves. Distribution is mid but I don't care about that too much.
Funnily enough but Troy Deeney picked his team of the week & chose Verbruggen between the sticks saying that he made 4-5 really good saves to keep Brighton in the game so much of the credit must go to how Nuno has organised the wall of 4 or 5 in front of Areola. You must admit most goalkeepers would look shocking with our defence under Potter
Yes, without the Ariola there's only a second team. There's exception to this rule, and some exceptional superstars, and I won't name them, and this way nobody will disagree. I desagree with the ownership about not getting some great players that they can and should for the balance of a very good team, and success.We all know what this hesitation we do and it effects the team. If The menagement pics a player with a name, but he's a has been but in the past, and no other team will pick but our management does for the excuse that they are doing something. Thi's like the Trump and other presidents always have a lame excuse and miserable life goes on.
We want real team, and we always do medioker one. West ham deserves better.

West Ham needs to eaqualise the defensive lime so that we can say that we have some pride on our defence along Ariola. I have been away from the Premiere ligue and Futball in general, but I can say with confidence that with all my perception and knowlege of the game I believe in my understanding of the game. We have a good coach, and I hope that the owners will consider the strong rains worth suporting for the time and give the fan's a deservinf quality team now.

I think Areola is a good goalkeeper he has made some great saves lately. I think he is ok under our new Manager because he also was a goalkeeper.

Absolutely
All a goalkeeper has to be is a shotstopper, control his box & be able to catch the ball. IΒ΄m not sure about the ability to accurately pass the ball 40 yards. Just give it a good hoof!
Alright, I get he's been better recently but HOTY is a wild shout. Great shot stopper sure, but his distribution is atrocious and he punches the ball WAYYYY too often.
