Juventus are VERY serious about a move for Federico Chiesa in January and are working on an official proposal deal in the next few days. Many other Italian sides are interested but the player has put Juventus above all others- (DarioPelle + multiple Italian sources)

  1. Is he gonna play as a striker? Cause even if he’s young Cristiano reincarnated, if the wankers we have for strikers right now keep up their current form, it won’t matter much who we bring to playmake for them.

Anyone knows how’s his legs? Or was it Liverpools coach who didn’t let him play or both things combined?

  3. Its a massive gamble on his fitness and sharpness. He has barely played, though I suppose we can hope his fitness is decent enough to play more, its more a case of not meeting Slott’s selection. That is another question of itself. He does seem to still look valuable when he does play.

Chico and Zhegrova have been abject failures so far. Yildiz has no decent backup on the left. Yet Chiesa is too good, if fit, to be a backup so would be coming with an eye as a starter. Him, Yildiz and some other, probably ideal for LS is a proper 9, which we do not have with Dusan mangled and Milik never much of a smiling corpse.

I’d prefer us to strengthen LWB/LB as Cambiaso as been one of the poorest all season. Also need a proper RWB, though Weston can be fine there for stopgap rest of the season, perhaps.

Also need stronger CBs, with Bremer the only quality and both struggling with injury niggles and not yet back to near his best.

Still, looked at in isolation, Chiesa, whilst bringing concerns, would be a potential key upgrade for our attack. I also like his mentality, determined.

Question could be whether he want to stay put and fight for more time there.

  4. We keep buying players except the ones we need. We need good playmakers, it’s been obvious for the last 5 years.

Yildiz on the Left and Chiesa on the right will be some really nice games to watch !

we really have a thing for getting ex players back dont we. I cant think of another club that has done it more than us in like the last decade. Not just the ones that have come back but we seem to often have links with players to come back that have just left within the last few seasons its so strange

  7. Pretty sure Liverpool have made it clear it’s a permanent deal or nothing so don’t see this happening

I don’t know if it’s just rumours but I’m of the opinion that Juve needs a playmaker and a full-back, not another attacking midfielder. Then, watching the Reds’ matches, Chiesa no longer has the same spark he had at Juventus before his injury. He no longer targets his man, he seeks out duels as little as possible, and the worst thing to do as an attacking midfielder is to only look for simple play.

  9. If he’s fit, he’s gonna be a great back-up for Yildiz, though the if’s doing a lot of work there.
