This was a superb away win for Everton! π€π
Being down to the bare bones player-wise Everton, after taking the lead, were under the cosh for the most part of the remainder of the match, as Nottingham Forest had 70% of the possession.
Still Everton defended as a team magnificently, led by our centre-backs Tarkowski and O'Brien and our keeper Pickford.
Our central midfielders Garner and Iroegbunam worked tirelessly throughout the match.
Man of the match Garner capped his superb performance by scoring our first goal and setting up the second for Barry to finish off.
And last but not least: the Everton fans in the packed away section showed once again why they are so highly regarded by everyone!

I've never been to the Forest ground do they always play welcome to the jungle by guns & roses as the players walk on?! Brain Clough would be turning in his grave π Great result though and brilliant to see players stepping up with players out π
