To do it in Italy is not the same. Many players who could not cut it in the prem went there and did well look at McTominay now for instance. The prem is a much higher standard and he didn't do it there. He could hide in the French team surrounded by great players and someone like Kante who did all the running for him. To be considered great you have to be able to be consistently. United players under Ferguson did it almost every game.
