The U’s beat Southampton on Boxing Day but failed to capitalise against the Swans.
As for Ipswich, they have a few players sidelined but are fresh off a 2-0 win on the road at league leaders, Coventry.

Harry Clarke – Knee
Defender Harry Clarke has struggled with a knee injury since April. His future at his hometown club is in doubt as a result.
George Hirst – Groin
Striker George Hirst missed the trip to Coventry with a groin injury. Despite his absence, the Tractor Boys still managed a 2-0 win against the league leaders.
Conor Townsend – Knee
Defender Conor Townsend has been missing since pre-season with a knee injury. The full-back is expected to miss the majority of the campaign.

Sammie Szmodics – Illness
Forward Sammie Szmodics underwent knee surgery at the end of October and missed the reverse fixture against the U’s. However, he missed the Coventry game due to illness.
Leif Davis – Illness
Like Szmodics, left-back Leif Davis missed the games at the CBS Arena with illness.
