  1. JMU did better than I thought, their offense actually looked pretty good and was able to move the ball even in the first half they just couldn’t get points off of it.

  2. For anyone still saying either team didn’t deserve to make it here’s some fun facts that led to this happening:

    1. The PAC-12 dissolving, had they stayed together they would have taken the 5th spot and no G5 school that everyone all of a sudden hates would even make it in

    2. Duke winning the ACC, had #20 Virginia won the championship they would have taken one of the Conference spots

    3. Notre Dame losing to Texas A&M and Miami, had they won either of those games they probably would’ve won over JMU

    4. Notre Dame actually joining a conference, whether it be the ACC or Big 10 they would have at least showed they were playoff caliber instead of just playing the bottom half of ACC teams and thinking that’s enough to make it in

    5. Vanderbilt losing to Texas earlier, had they beaten them they probably would have gotten a bid into the playoffs

    6. BYU getting destroyed by Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship, had the score been like 31-24 or something it would have proved that they were good enough to make the CFP

So yeah… Chaos at its finest

Had any of these things not happened, Tulane and JMU would not have made it in

  4. The second half was hard to watch. The Ducks let down and looked pathetic. The team looks to lack the Discipline to go the distance. This has to be enforced by the leaders (coaches) if they hope to have a chance winning it all. They certainly have the talent to do it!

  5. Absolute domination by Oregon. Who cares about all those 2nd half garbage time points JMU scored. The game was over in the 2nd quarter then Oregon took their starters out and let off the gas. Only 6 points scored when all defensive starters were in. If anything this will benefit Oregon going into Texas Tech because it will put a chip on their shoulder. Absolutely nothing to worry about here. JMU had no business being in the playoffs period. What a joke, let the teams who were actually ranked 11 and 12 in. Would've been a much more competitive game at Autzen.

  6. Remember kids, a game with a lot of points doesn't make it better. The second half was practically a mere formality A game with only 13 total points was more dramatic and exciting than one with 85.
