Conor Gallagher has emerged as a potential Manchester United target, with a loan move reportedly being discussed.
But this isn’t a glamorous signing. It’s a system signing.
In this Scarlet Report breakdown, I analyze what kind of midfielder Conor Gallagher really is, his work rate, pressing intensity, off-the-ball movement, and whether he fits Ruben Amorim’s tactical system at Manchester United.
Is Conor Gallagher the right short-term solution for Manchester United’s midfield or a tactical risk?

I am always the first to comment
I don't think we need him
Conor Gallagher on loan and Neves for 15m,
Thats a good window
Martinez plus gallgher or casemiro and Gallagher…has a nice ring to it
I don't think he comes cause amorim said he'll sign only of the plyr is in long term plan, which gallagher isn't, still cud be a gud loan move
I like how you see what others are not seeing
👍
On loan, definitely. Legs and pressing we need while keeping our main objective of a midfield rebuild next summer. Better than committing to a 4/5 year deal on a questionable player like Rúben Neves, and we do need something if we're to finish top 6.
Et tu, Scarlet? ET TU????
Connor Gallagher on loan! Smart system move or unnecessary risk?
Would you take him at Manchester United YES or NO? And who does he replace in midfield?
He can be useful in the short term
No
Even fans can do better scouting
