50 – 60% of big mid season signings fail to meet expectations, study shows

I know it is not from 2025, but I have always suspected this was the case over the years. I am not a fan big mid season transfers. Every now and then, it works, but much less than you would think. For Bayern specifically, with the exception of Davies and maybe Cancelo, we are better off not doing any work mid season unless it is an "absolute steal". There is none this season. This is how we end up with folks like Boey and Zaragoza. I totally agree with the club saying it is not looking to do anything this window.
