This is the final episode of my series. And the most personal one.

In this chapter, I open up like never before — about the person I was before I found Jesus, and the journey that led me to faith, healing, and purpose.

You’ll hear the honest testimonies of two key people in my life: Zaca, my childhood friend who’s been with me from day one. And Dodi Lukebakio, my Belgian teammate and the person who introduced me to the Gospel.

The climax of the episode is something deeply intimate: my baptism, alongside my wife Shireen — a powerful moment of rebirth, led by our pastor Tim Timberlake and his wife, Jen.

This episode isn’t about football. It’s about truth. About redemption. About the light that changed everything.

🙏🏾 If you’ve followed this series, thank you. I hope this last chapter speaks to you in a special way.

  1. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the light. For sure has no meaning without Jesus Christ, thank you Doku. You're now inspiring me to spread gospel too as a football christian. 🙏🏿😭

  2. Seeing Jeremy Doku openly acknowledge Jesus Christ and be baptized in public is truly powerful. This is greater than goals, trophies, or fame. It takes real courage to stand for Christ before the world.

May God honor this public confession, strengthen your faith, and use your life as a testimony to millions—on and off the field. As Scripture says, “Everyone who acknowledges Me before men, I also will acknowledge before My Father who is in heaven.”

Respect and blessings. Stay bold in Christ.

  3. “I just want you to know I’m praying for you. God sees what you’re going through, and He is near. ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit’ (Psalm 34:18). You’re not alone.”
