Former player Takumi Minamino (30) was stretchered off during the Monaco-Auxerre tie, possibly due to an ACL tear. If confirmed, it would likely end his hopes of playing in the World Cup.

You know its bad when a player covers their face. Isak did the same. Thats When I knew it was serious

I wonder how much of the increase in injuries is down to irregularities in schedules these days. Back in the day it was always Saturday then Tuesday or Wednesday and repeat. Nowadays it’s Friday then Monday then Saturday then Thursday then Tuesday then Saturday. I can’t imagine it helps the body not being able to get into any set routine

  3. Damn. I remembered he didn’t played much for the national team for the 2022 WC even though he was with us. Now this when he’s in good form.

  4. Taki is 30? Dayum.

Hope he can get back in time. My knees are humming in solidarity with all these acls.

  5. That’s awful. Love Taki and he’s been really good for Monaco. Hope that it’s not too bad and wish for a speedy recovery.

Hope the fella is alright. Underrated cog in the klopp era. Had a horrific start joining just before Covid and then the whole disaster of 20/21 but he did a lot for us in 21/22. Tidy player would be a great shame if he missed the WC. Wish him all the best.
