I think the players behaviour is wrong. They should not be complaining like this and disrespecting the coach. Skocic got us to the world cup in good fashion but he has his flaws, i.e. he could not control the dressing room, however he deserves to be our coach for the world cup due to the mere fact that he got us to the world cup. If we have to change him, I would personally like to see an Iranian coach, whose salary would not cripple us and who knows our football well and the player can respect him. Carlos is a good coach but let's not forget that he was not able to take us to the second round after 2 attempts. I think someone else deserves a go.

Iran needs to play more friendlys before the actual world cup – why are opposing teams pulling out against playing Iran ?
I personally think America & England are flexing their muscles in getting teams NOT to play friendly matches with Iran – so Iran lacks practice matches before the actual WC event – It's getting worse for athletes and other sports persons
No matter what game or what event it is. Everything is being politicised. It's so difficult and frustrating to play under certain banners and tag lines when all you want to do is play your sport – God help Iran 🇮🇷

I wasnt really supporting Skocic because he is from Croatian geocidal southern slav. Besides that I think he is a fine coach. Firing him was not wise since you already hired him. Only advantage of Quiroz would be that if we are just going to defend and park the bus and not play friendlies, nobody will drill TM better. It looks like that is only tactic we got left. Nekounam I like as a player. I prefer to see him play as backup defensive midfielder. Im not sure he is smart enough to be a tactician but very inspirational in locker room.
This goes to show the pathetic nature of our football federation, culture and the regime where this all stems from. You announce that he will be coaching in the WC and then cut his legs off. He probably isn't the greatest coach but who do we think we are. You think Guardiola or something will come to our backwards country. Let's have some realistic expectations. It will be another coach..we will get our ass kicked in the WC…then he will get fired. Then another coach…we will get knocked out of the Asian cup…then fire that coach…then on and on and on…we have a backwards football federation and football culture. Face it.

Our problem is not the coach or the players our problem has always been the Iranian football federation a true kiss ass their strategy has always been muddy the water and divide so they can steal and serve their needs.
