Kylian Mbappe in in Monstrous Form right now. Without him, Real Madrid would truly be lost. But this unfortunately comes at a cost.

  1. Call me crazy, but Mbappe being so important (vital) for the current Madrid squad is actually bad. The team is basically being carried by him. If he gets injured or lowers his level the club is going to be severely accepted

  2. I don’t understand how people say mbappe is “great”. Let’s be real as soon as he left psg, psg won the champions league. When mbappe arrived to Real Madrid they were champions league winners and what happened once he arrived? Real Madrid got worse.

  3. his true greatness will not be judged on how many goals he scores against la liga teams. it will be judged on how many ucls he can deliver. if he scores 450 goals for real madrid but doesnt win the UCL honestly it will be seein as a failure, especially considering the team he came into and what the team he left did straight away.

  4. Altho it is interesting how both UCL Title contender teams were/are playing worse with him in it, saying Mbappe as an individual is anything but one of the best players in the world currently is just plain crazy.
Some people focus way too much on silverwear rather that what the player is doing regardless of the win rate

  5. Someone scoring goals being is problem is kinda crazy!. I remember V Basten, man was doing the exact same thing but he had Gullit and Rijkaard. RM need a Gullit and most def a Rijkaard. The team has no balance at all.

  6. It is indeed bad; other players MUST sacrifice for him to shine, and that’s fine when it is, but disastrous when it’s not. Benz was willing to be second in command for a decade, who else will be so kind?

20% or so of his goals are penalties, and larger/better teams are going to be better at mitigating the “one man army” gimmick. Best teams spread the goals around and we all know it; Dembele didn’t have 60G/A and didn’t need to, but he’s got to lift two trophies Mbappé would KILL for because he does what Mbappé (as of yet) won’t. Great example(s):

    – three goals in the WC final, fantastic…*for HIM*
    – three goals in a clasico defeat, fantastic for HIM
    – near breaking Ronaldo’s record for goals in a year, while winning the club nothing in said year and not looking particularly close to it this year, fantastic maybe, for HIM

  7. Yea laud him as much as u want for his individual accolades. It doesn’t change e fact that psg started winning after he left, n Real Madrid started losing after he joined. He’s wad u call a stat stuffer in basketball. It’s nvr just about skill, which he has loads of. He just lacks other vital attributes required for winning

  8. Literally people just get caught up in the up and down roller coaster of big clubs… If you don't perform for 1 month you're a flop and a failed footballer…. Everybody started believing this about Mbappe last year at Real…. He's been a world class footballer since the 2016-2017 year with Monaco and that hasn't changed….
