  1. The PSG owners are the Qatari royal family. The qulf countries are known for their kafala slave system. They aren't used to workers being able to leave their employers

  2. Trying to withhold money already owed to a player is as petty as it gets. The team had no grounds to sue the player, as the player left on a free transfer. Rules are rules. The team should have sold or signed the player before the player became free. Instead, the team was too greedy, and ended up getting nothing in return, because they were only looking out for themselves, and not the player's best interests.

  3. PSG have completely overstepped here, he signed for PSG for a specified period of time, he served that time, and the contract has expired, that’s it, unless both sides agree a new contract, he is free to do whatever they want. Hopefully this will be settled correctly, protecting workers rights

  4. The Qatari business model is flawed and they have no argument. They had the opportunity to sell the lad earlier to Real Madrid and they refused until the last minute where they started talking about Saudi Arabia as though Kylian was ever going to move there in his prime.

  5. The analysis is quite favourable to PSG. It should be remembered that PSG received an offer from Real Madrid in 2022 of €200 million for Kylian Mbappé, which it turned down. The player was under enormous political pressure to renew his contract even though he already had an agreement with Madrid. PSG had several opportunities to recoup money and took a risk by renewing his contract. He stayed in Paris for seven years, and PSG knew full well that he wasn't going to stay there for his entire career! KM's last year in Paris was more than unpleasant, as the management publicised the conflict and turned the fans against him ! Similarly, it is not fair to say that PSG won the Champions League thanks to his departure: with Kylian Mbappé, they played in one final and two semi-finals! They were already very close to winning, and Mbappé carried the team for years…

  6. Imagine your boss at work forcing you to sign a new contract or holding half a year's worth of pay if yoy don't do it. Thats basically what's going on but in a bigger scale

  7. Stopped watching after this person said Mbappe is one the most extraordinary players of all time. He is very good, but no where near one of the most extraordinary of all time, I'm sorry . . .
