Bruno Fernandes has revealed he feels Manchester United wanted to sell him this summer but Ruben Amorim didn’t want him to go and that he is hurt by the fact the club was ready to sell him at a time when others aren’t anywhere near as a committed as Bruno is.

Yeah, there’s a fair amount to cover from this interview so here goes.

  1. What's your reaction to Bruno Fernandes' interview? He's clearly hurt at how things have happened when he feels there are others at the club who are nowhere near as committed as he is to the cause.

  2. If Bruno leave then the club will go down…. Firstly, his availability, secondly his productive, thirdly his creativity and fourtly his risk taking mentality…. Nobody can replace him, Amorim will have Nobody to save him bcus those players dont care and wont turn up when we need goals

  3. Bruno at 10 is litterally levels above Cunha and mbeumo, getting rid of Bruno is stupid as F…. No player on the planet creates more than Bruno and Bruno did it in this crap team!

The hate for Bruno is retarded, without Bruno we would have gotten relagated! I dont Care about mbeumo or Cunha, they can’t lace the shoes of Bruno!

  4. In the past few games where we could take advantage of other teams we have given up points because of Bruno’s decision making. His lack of wanting others to take control of the games has made it so everything flows through him.
As a captain he could say all the right things BUT if you look at the eye test instead of stats you can see where he’s been holding us back.
Look at the last games where we could take top 4 and and tie or go down 1 and he starts to kick the ball long and give it immediately away.
Just as a player is applauded for being loyal we need to be real and talk about how much we’ve under achieved with him as a captain.
If we would’ve let him leave in the summer we could’ve recruited one or two players that could take us to the next level.

  5. If Bruno is not a CM he should NOT be playing there. Why do we consistently make our squad weaker? He should be talking with Ruben and making it known that 1)he’s not a cm and 2) the other players playing out of position are not working.

Cinta and Bruno as the 10s would’ve been amazing with Kobbie behind them. In a 433 Bruno and Kobbie ahead of Casamerio would’ve been amazing but that is never the case.

  6. I've criticized Bruno a lot over the years but I've never undervalued his work rate, loyalty, or love for the club. Let's be honest, if not for him, we could well be playing in the Championship right now. His consistent goal/assist contributions year after year have dragged us over the line on probably more than one occasion.

  7. Bruno is the most important player at the clun currently, he's influence is major. The last part about others not valuing united is a concern. It only explains why the team plays better in some matches, one half and suffere the other. As a club we need committed players and Bruno is exactly that.

  8. This is player fc pandering. He has given his best and it’s time. We haven’t progressed, we’ve had so many of the same players that fans refuse have sold. We keep them and they don’t perform. We demand a new contract they give it and the player goes to crap. We need to detach from players. This interview is him trying to get empathy from fans. You don’t know if you would have won anything. We won 2 trophies under a different coach. Same squad new coach lost 1-0 in 90+ minutes of a final. Bruno is not the savior, he is a talented footballer that can go

  9. So many brainwashed bots saying where would we be without him. Well the 100m direct cash injection could have allowed us to sign 3-4 players by staggering payments. I agree with glazers Bruno and Amorim out.

  10. Nothing new here. Not intended for English ears. If he goes, well and good, his reckless mistakes, impossible flicks, his haranguing players for not reaching an impossible pass, and his hang dog reaction whne we go behind, and this interview… all make me think it is time. If we could, let's dream, get Wharton and Anderson in this summer….WOW!!! Anderson applying the defensive glue and attacking movement. Wharton giving us his instant defence cutting passes and general solid play. Those two instead of Bruno and Casemiro??? What United fan wouldn't take that?

  11. Love Bruno, but if you told me the club could sell him in January and bring in Baleba to replace him, I'd jump at the chance. We aren't winning this year and top 4 is a stretch with the control we have in midfield. Amorim's insistence on a midfield two would work much better with Baleba and Mainoo over scuffling the rest of the year using Casemiro and Bruno in positions that aren't best suited for either.

  12. Glazers OUT!
Club want money? WHAT??? Like selling McTominay who played with heart but always at wrong place on field.
Today football is all have skills but not everyone have desire to win.

  13. It's fine… we need a total overhaul for MF anyway… Bruno, Case and Mainoo can go…. there should be more than enough $ to bring in 2 of Baleba, Anderson, Wharton!!!

  14. It's interesting how much criticism Bruno gets in the United squad but not nearly as much, as far as I can tell, when he plays for Portugal. For anyone that questions how important he has been to the club and still is to this day, imagine how poor the team would be without him in it. I'd wager that they'd have been relegated last season. I really like Bruno and he's been the best post-SAF signing by far, but I also think that it may be time for him to go, kind of in a similar vein to the situation with Salah and Liverpool (although Bruno is still at his best and Salah is far from it). I'll hate to see him leave, but the club can still get 100mil+ for him this summer, which would 1) pay for Wharton or Baleba, or maybe even both 2) finally allow Mainoo to play in the CAM role that Bruno has occupied for so long (and I'd bet that he'll be much better than we've seen so far, since he's largely been played out of position for a long time now) and 3) allow them to allocate the 100mil+ that they were going to have to spend on the midfield to the defense, in particular the wingbacks.

  15. I was born in Bury 82 year’s ago, so naturally a United fan. I want Bruno to know that true fans do not want him to leave the club. He has the moral character that I wish the owners had one tenth of. We support and admire you Bruno. ❤️❤️

  16. Wanting credit for not scumming your way to Saudi is the same as telling your wife you love her because you don’t cheat.

Great player, always available, but personally he’s a complete bellend.
