They should tell Rich Paul to cram it, and let the contract play out without trading him. They don't know what trade value AD has, so they ought to let him find out his own value on the free agent market.

The Mavs should trade Anthony Davis as soon as possible. No need to keep a guy made of paper mache if he can't play due to injury, after injury after injury. Letting Anthony Davis walk after the NBA season is the alternative. Anthony Davis is not a max contract guy at 37 or 38. If I were an NBA owner I would call for a new meeting to acknowledge how bad the pay and play are.

I was never convinced that Luca was traded for that they said, this was an inside deal between owners and the NBA, Nico Harris was just the fall guy because he was the Gm. That’s why Dallas got the #1 pick and likely gonna get something else major as true compensation for giving Luca to the Lakers.

There are a couple of flaws in this video
1. If there is no market for AD then why would Dallas fill compelled to offer him a max extension? They could just negotiate a cheaper contract or fore fewer years similar to what they did for Kyrie.
2. If the price is low enough there are plenty of teams that would take AD. The pistons could keep there young core and only deal expiring contracts. It just depends on what the mavericks are asking for
