Its fair to say that Mason Mount’s first 2 seasons as a Manchester United player didn’t go to plan.
Injuries and fitness problems constantly stopped any form of progress but things are looking different this season.

What's your take on Mount's season so far? Playing once a week is definitely benefitting him personally, he just needs to stay fit like he has so far. More of it, Mason.
He’s been fantastic! Which makes me think he’ll suffer a season ending injury 😅

In hindsight, it was a blessing in disguise he got injured. Luckily he wasnt included in the purge and ppl were willing to give him another chance and so far hes delivered.
Most English players peak.every world cup or Euro season to make the English squad look at Rashford among others stats
After seeing interviews and how others say Mount is down to earth and good to be around, I'm glad he's settling in on the pitch finally. I hope we can improve our midfield 2 with players who have similar positive characteristics.

they bought cunha for the left 10 role but mount may be much better at that position. i think he can also be deployed deeper to help out with build up and rest defense but that has the potential to give him more injury issues because he plays too hard.
It is too soon to sing praises on him. Let him play for another eight games and determined then.
I never used to like him but he’s grown on me with his effort. He’s very talented and if he can get anywhere near his form for Chelsea, he can be brilliant
Mount should be starting every game hes decisive and intelligent and the best thing is hes still got more to show yet

He's beginning to earn the Number 7 shirt. If he carries on like he has been, he will be a proper United Number 7, and that's regardless of where he's being played.
Mount deserves to start every game from now on. Sesko needs to fight for his place.

instead of this vague chart @ 6:18, i would like to see the stat that shows how many defensives stops he has for ManUtd, versus the whole team when he isnt on the pitch. it's glaringly obviously with the eye-test alone. but would like to see that stat nonetheless.
Crazy take. I think he should play over Bruno. Something about him (Bruno) doesn’t fit. I, and I might be crazy, feel like Mount would fit better.

Playing football is very simple, but playing simple football is the hardest thing there is. As Cruyff once said, I believe Mount is our best player at doing the simple passes, runs and first touches so the team is always moving forward. Love his football style and hoping for him to have his best season so far in a United shirt. 🇾🇪💪🏽
