Christmas cheer spread throughΒ Alder Hey Children’s Hospital on Wednesday as manager David Moyes and his Everton squad made their annual festive visit to spend time with patients and their families.

Moyes, Men’s Senior Team coach Leighton Baines, Club captain Seamus Coleman and winger Jack Grealish headed to the wards to meet and hand out gifts to youngsters who are currently undergoing treatment or facing the prospect of spending the festive period in hospital.

Meanwhile, the rest of the squad joined a special Christmas party for Evertonians who have been patients at the West Derby facility throughout the past 12 months.

The players arrived armed with gifts for each child, before making sure no-one in the room was left without a selfie, autograph or video message.

  2. Everton Football Club and fans are such class. Remember the joining of red and blue scarfs from Goodison to Anfield after Hillsboro. Football has always been so much more than rich foreign billionaires buying up clubs like play things and winning trophys because they can afford the best players ( the likes of Chelsea and City etc ) its community , history tradition and fans who stick with the club for richer for poorer. That has been and always will be Everton Football Club . That why is such a much loved club and admired by fans of other clubs.
