Messi is lost. The reason? He’s not respected. I’m honestly SHOCKED at how the players seem to treat him on the pitch.
One of Messi’s favourite things to do is make late runs to the edge of the box – at PSG, almost EVERY SINGLE TIME he’s in spaces around the box, he gets ignored. Perhaps 90% of the time, honestly. Players like Kehrer, Mbappe, Di Maria (weird I know), Hakimi – they just ignore him. Not just that, but even in the midfield – it’s like he has to literally get close to the players and say “give me the ball” to receive it.
It’s shocking – I hope he dumps PSG and goes somewhere that will actually respect him.
