slot has no salah or gakpo but still couldn’t bring chiesa ffs
Gakpo is not and never was up to Liverpool’s standard. He was more of a sub. He is a lower mid table player but the coach favours him no matter what. The coaching team’s assessment of players is nust questionable. Slot needs to go because no other coach would keep playing Gakslow.
I love Cody my favourite player for us but I agree he isn’t good. But he’s the scapegoat many other to blame instead he took all of it. I hope he’s cutting in because slot is telling him 😂 because we’ve seen him last year and the year before he was much more creative. But idk he feels like a striker too tall too blocky.

He’s such a polarising player, on one hand he has pretty good output but on the other hand he is so unbelievably wasteful, it sounds harsh but his commitment to cutting inside and shooting (which is so predictable) makes both kerkez and the striker look worse. Unfortunately he’s probably the reason we haven’t seen attacking side of kerkez yet.

I've been critisising him since last year, gakpo is only good when Salah puts it on a plate for him, he is a toothless attacker, 0 threat on his own.
Every coach has that player they start no matter their form
he has 0 ball iq always ruins our attacks and his pressing is bluetooth . he needs to be benched to improve.

I've been furious with Gakpo most of the season, especially that wasteful match, was it against man U, when he hit the post 3 times or something. But TBF I thought he actually played really well against Leeds because he was working hard, playing with intensity

You're forgetting that Gakpo is a tall player and helps defend set pieces thats IMO the reason gakpo keeps playing
