  1. Bayern have been really good in attack but defensively they still have similar flaws to the 2013 team which lost 5-0 to Madrid. If the opposition attack is clinical they can easily go 2, 3 down. Real test will be when they concede first in a big game which hasn't happened yet

  2. Goes to show how vital a good manager is who can read players and form a team out of talented individuals.
This Bayern team is filled with several rejects from other big clubs and it wasn't performing at the start of the season. They were giving away the league, came close to dropping out of the DFB Pokal, but the problem wasn't a lack of world-class players.

Flick, in no time, turned this underperforming group of talents into the most dominant force in European football.
It wasn't about signing some new players for a quarter billion €, it was about getting the best out of the players they already had.

Stars don't win trophies, teams do.

Yesterday we saw stars underperform under pressure, while the better team prevailed.

To think that Flick was initially named head coach for a 2 game transition period…

I hope he stays and continues to form the new generation of Bayern.
Tons of young talent in that squad and Flick showed that he can transform talent into world-class.

Hansi Flick has been a known name in Germany for a long time, he was always kind of connected to success, but never in the limelight. Glad he got this opportunity now.

Also, a calm and humble guy, very focussed on his team, not interested in media games and the players clearly love working with him. This is also an increasingly important factor when it comes to attracting new talent.

  3. Gone from looking knackered like the team that played us in the Quarter final last season, to the absolute elite level they’re playing now, is an amazing achievement. Brave to take Gnabry and Coman off when he did too, didn’t make a difference. With exception of a few fleeting moments they totally dominated Paris.

  4. still funny how barcelona got coutinho who wanted to win the champions league but then lend him to bayern munich and he actually won the champions league. So Barcelona actually supported Coutinho by achieving his goal

  5. Who else watched the full game… neymar not good enough, takes 8 years on the ball then passes it, no leadership in the front 3, PSG didn’t deserve to win tbh even if they scored, but Bayern on the other hand Coman was flying on the wing when he got subbed of I knew the wing back was dancing in his head πŸ˜‚ but still they haven’t lost since DECEMBER it is now AUGUST I mean come on respect the game man πŸ’―πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

  6. I’m a really jealous United fan rn, but these guys are so fun to watch. They just pass. the ball. forwards.

I loved the performance at Stamford Bridge because they were Fifa goals. Just simple one-twos and one-touch play doing the simple stuff so efficiently and burying their chances

  7. Get that manager to Man City ASAP he’s the future of modern football- he’s not klopp but he’s the 2nd best in the world 🌍 behind klopp

  8. Hansi Flick and FC Bayern Munchen πŸ˜πŸ€©βš½πŸ‘πŸ™πŸ’–πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

  9. Everyone is forgetting just how boring a Champion's league final it was. It was dull, I don't care if it's Bayern and PSG, that match was boring as helll.

  10. Not mentioned much, but Flick was the Assistant to Loew in the Nationalelf before taking over from Kovacs so he knows tactics (2014 WC on the resume) and would have a great working relationship with some of the veterans like Neuer, Mueller and Boateng who all experienced massive transformations in their performances once he walked into the training room. So it's not like he was a complete unknown

  11. At the final whistle Alaba instead of rushing in for celebrations consoled Neymar who was crying… That was some sportsmanship…. Neymar should learn something… He was mocking a player 10 yr younger to him when they beat him some months ago

  12. All eyes will be on Hansi Flick next season. Roberto di matteo did the same at Chelsea. He came into a team that was struggling half way through the season and with his fantastic man management skills changed the environment in the changing room and had all the players working together and enjoying themselves, to then go on and win the champions league which nobody expected. Then the next season came and he failed to have the same impact and was fired. So the real test starts for him next campaign.

  13. For me undoubtedly EPL the best and the most competitive league, but we still wait epl can produce more good british managers and coaches that can bting english club to be champion of europe.

  14. Will be exciting to watch how he handles the first crisis or how he handles hard decisions in regards to his players. Then, we will see, if he has the respect and if he is not too close to the players.

  15. Whoever's idea it was to allow Ferdinand to speak on TV is either an experienced comedian or just hopelessly out of his depth when it comes to giving the show integrity. Yet another with two brain cells, sent to the GNVQ school of punditry!

  16. Bayern has to be one of best clubs in not only team n manager BUT the upstairs hierarchy run by former great whose love for the club has never died making sure that the club is a family and it's not just about the top line financially it's more about the love for the club
