The Biggest SORE LOSERS Ever?! 🤡
Following their penalty shootout loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps, LAFC Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris SLAMMED the fact that the Whitecaps play on a turf field, and while I AGREE with him, he continued the trend of LAFC blaming everything but themselves when they fall short 🤦🏻♂️
What do YOU make of this?! 🤔⬇️

goofy league using turf
Switching to grass isn't as easy as "just switch it" there are lots of excuses. Lack of money, time, power, and storage to name a few.
💛💚🌲💚💛
Eli I do have one thing to say for all the clubs that play on nfl fields it is disappointing but teams like the revs have been trying to get new stadiums but can’t that’s the problem and Gillette is do iconic that a lot of people don’t want to switch
Or maybe Vancouver is the better team?
LAFC was robbed that should’ve been a Los Angeles win‼️‼️‼️😡😡😡😡
Vancouver was set up better and Dolo jumped the gun subbing out Ordaz for ANYONE BUT EBOBISSE…thats what i saw, Dolo Out
Haha Hugo and LA need to cry more, lost to 9 men pathetic
I was at that game where the whitecaps won and we dominated the first half and went up 2-0, then the ref became utterly one sided for lafc and after we had the very controversial red card we couldn't do anything because anytime we touched a player the ref gave a foul, this was only for vancouver by the way and i think you kinda needed to be there or watch on tv to know the what the reffing was like. Then the freekick only happened from the terrible call and the fact that we still managed to win even going down to 9 men really is great.
Sounders on Lumen field's turf is a difficult issue. First its am NFL primary facility and they havnt decided turf is as bad as soccer has. Second the amount of rain and usage the field would get would certainly risk it being in very poor condition during peak usage.
Now there has been talk of a soccer specific stadium being built but unless it gets TREMENDOUS financial backing and luck it will not actually be IN Seattle. Not to mention diminished max capacity. Lumen field will be getting real grass for the world cup, that however will be in dry season and not oeak usage so it is unlikely to stay.
Lafc is so corny
Tbh LAFC always have something to complain about. When they came to Utah and had to play in the snow due to them not showing up to the match in time, they tried to act like it was some disgrace that a match would ever be played in winter conditions.
Fuck lafc I'm happy they out… 😂😂😂 Im la galaxy fan to the day I die…🎉🎉🎉
Galaxy fan and hater, no surprise! In all seriousness, as an LAFC fan, we had plenty of chances to win in OT, we just couldn’t convert :/ never been a huge fan of Hugo, but turf is lame. Still definitely not the reason we lost 😢
vancouver turf looks worse than my grandmas 50 year old carpets
Why is VC so poor though?
Charlotte and Atlanta both play in NFL stadiums that might be why they have to field
You can slam the turf field in Vamcouver but it sure looked better than that cow pasture in San Diego on Monday.
So are we not going to bang on the other turf fields – Seattle, Portland, New England, Atlanta, Charlotts
Wow. LAFC really acting like sore losers.
To be fair, we did make them play on the bad turf while we played on the good turf.
Well I mean 4/6 of those teams play at NFL stadiums so I mean that’s probably why but the other 2 I can understand what there trying to say
To all the MLS fans in the comments – Lloris is right. Ditch turf and ditch your ego.
I mean it's not "such a simple" fix as you have stated but it definitely is a fix that SHOULD happen and stay permanent.
Let's be real Hugo Lloris made innocent mistakes in both Vancouver goals. Mf should be blaming himself if anything
As a whitecaps fan he is correct, we need grass and it's leading to injuries. That being said the timing is bad and it's a weak excuse. If he said this before the game people would've taken him more seriously
Yeah because the pitch in San Diego was so much better on Monday. Why TF is no one talking about that? If you want to build us a Billion dollar stadium then we will install a grass pitch.
Remind me, what city has sold 54,000 tickets to multiple games this year? Of yeah, the Whitecap’s. Would have been closer to 60,000 but we were forced to host the World Cup.
