He's a great defender and his ability hasn't just vanished. The young man is caving under the pressure on him, every time he has the ball or is playing for the ball, those doubts and fears of f…ng up come into his mind and the inevitable happens. Even the strongest individuals will struggle if they are made a scapegoat for what is a team problem. Don't chase a great player away, just support him instead of attacking him maybe.
