  1. Rather Eze in the middle just because he's a goal threat and occupies the space behind the striker. O plays too deep to be a goal threat especially on high turn overs or counters.

  2. Raya: Check your lines, avoid that Richarlison situation.
Timber: Keep that Estevao boy quiet, he has been noisy lately.
Calafiori: Get us crosses in or even a goal. I think you have the height to attack corners and score.
    Saliba: Pedro again, pocket him.
Hincapie:Be calm, and aggressive, Chelsea will attack you more.
Zubi: Try a direct assist over the top to Eze or Merino or even Saka.
Rice: Caicedo should get rattled, don't let him play.
Eze: Do what Eze does, create, score , repeat.
Merino: Drop deep, confuse their defense, get a set piece header on target, it will go in.
Saka: Cut in on your left higher on the pitch, near the half way line, this makes Cucurella come for you, leaving space behind for a Timber overlap. Don't go near the corner, they will triple up on you. Cut in early.
Martinelli: Just run in through the middle, chelsea weakness is Two centre backs. Score your usual chelsea goal.
Madueke: Hurt them and hush them, throw them under the bridge, you know what to do, our boy!
Arteta: Gameplan wins this game, not even personell. Can we shock chelsea with a surprise tactic? that will win us this game. Chelsea has to be silenced early in the game. Avoid overthinking though. Good tactics against Bayern munchthem.

  3. The less tinkering the better…if the game’s not going our way or if the players run out of gas can always bring Odegaard or Martinelli on later ….a bit more worried about Rice & his burning out. We seem to have options all over expect for sub for Rice. P.S. get better soon…

  4. Great stuff as always, Charles. What a week. For me the best recipe with Noni would be to let Saka torment Cucurella for 60 or 70 minutes and then bring Noni on, to finish the job! Martinelli on the left, Eze in the 10. Move Eze left when gabi needs to rest and bring Martin on to finish.

  5. If Trossard isn't fit, the possible replacements are Madueke, Martinelli and Odegaard. In the latter case Eze would move to the LW, naturally. In my opinion, Martinelli is better option for the LW than Eze and Madueke. However, apparently Madueke recovered before Martinelli and Odegaard and looks more match fit than the other two. If Noni starts together with Eze and Saka, I would put Saka on the LW. It might be unpopular opinion, but Madueke's quality is much higher on the right, while Saka started his career with us as LW and was also playing really well. I believe his performance won't drop significantly, if he starts on the left.

  6. Team for sunday raya timber saliba hincapie calafiori zubimendi rice eze saka madueke merino or gyokeres if fit martinelli odegaard to come on as subs

  7. Charles, why did you say regarding Trossard "best case scenario is a few weeks out" when you stated yourself that you have (had, at the time of recording) absolutely no information about what the injury is or the extent of it? That's really weird, and I'm genuinely curious why you'd draw that conclusion based on nothing at all.

Also, Arteta stated it doesn't look to be much.

  8. Great show as always Charles! Just a couple of notes in what has been a phenomenal week as an Arsenal fan…firstly the only way I can describe Declan Rice is as a war horse…and the way Zubimendi compliments him is really raising his levels in a way we haven’t seen..must be absolutely frightening for rivals fans to think about 😂 Secondly our defensive depth is just simply outstanding, early signs from Hincappie and Mosquera are showing what could be an elite center back pairing in their own right…god forbid Saliba went down with injury while Big Gabby is out but you look at the performances those two have put in recently and realize how strong we are in that position… lastly so much credit to Mikel and his staff for the energy and vibe they have helped create around the club inside the stadium but also off the pitch as well! 👏😤

  9. I don't think Odegaard can get his spot back yet. Eze is starting to get comfortable in that right 8 position. He's finding the space to make a pass and also offers a much bigger scoring threat in that 8 yard box on cutbacks.

  10. Odegaard might be club captain, but you can’t drop or move Eze who has just scored a hat trick in the NLD and put in another good performance against Bayern Munich playing in the no.10 role.
For me you play Madueke on the left, with Martinelli a great option to bring on in the 2nd half

  11. Hi 👋 Charles, I hope you get better soon. I believe that the gunners have a stronger squad than Chelsea and for this reason we should be favourites to win 🏆 this match. COYG to thrash Chelsea God willing 🙏🏽. I hope 🤞 you get better soon Charles 😂. Arsenal rocks 🪨.

  12. What's this crazy narrative that Saka struggles against Cucurella?! Saka always gets the better of him and the ref allows him to get fouled 5-6 times. The same as against Tarkwoski, Burn and other fullbacks. Constant fouling isn't having a good game, the ref is just not doing their job in brandishing yellow cards. How Timber treats Wingers is what you call having a good game.

  13. I don't get why Mosquera and skelly are getting hate for that goal. It was a great goal, we only cconceded once and it was against arguably the bst team in europe.

  14. Hi Charles💯👌 alwz a great show with proper info guidance. The arsenal is looking mighty and great this season. It's the first season I'm not scared for no team and I really do feel confident going into any game. I think Arsenal is playing game really clever this season with very few and little mistakes. For me so far this season the only 2 mistakes I can see is the only mistakes by Raya leaving is 6mt box and not tracking back in good time and then Zubimendi over playing the ball and moving it on in good time that created the last goal and left skelly weak

  15. to the tune of Amore…

When he plays at the back he will stop your attack – Calafiori
On the wing he's the king when he's doing his thing – Calafiori
With his long flowing hair and Italian flair – Calafiori
From Bologna he came and we all sing his name – Calafiori

  16. Charles, I have a question about press conferences. Do you do only Arsenal press conference ? are you able to do a press conference at Manchester city how do journalists go around from One city to the other, knowing that there is one press conference happening, maybe an hour apart? Let’s at Liverpool and one is happening at the same time in London.

  17. Morning Charles
If they think Palmer is fine to start or play… Am I wrong to hope we test this out – as soon as possible?
Ideally, win kick off – From kick-off lob ball at Palmer.
Have in position 5 of our biggest heaviest pairs of feet to charge and jump at that ball, getting ball or not irrelevant, multiple times landing on someone's toe very relevant.
Great way to start the game IMO.

  18. i think the club were to blame for the madueke transfer backlash..the timing of the signing was very bad (first big signing of a huge summer). we needed a number nine, left winger and eze/maverick signing before him, and it looked like madueke was coming in to be our starting left winger as opposed to a RW backup. he always looks very out of position on the left, and i would much rather trossard, martinelli or even eze play that position over him. when saka is out or needs a rest in the PL or UCL, then madueke plays. he shouldn’t be shoehorned into the team just because we are playing chelsea.
