Many still put Rice in the same position as Caicedo, because he played as a 6 at West Ham, but have you guys even watched Arsenal in the last couple of years?
As he says here, he's a box to box 8, guys like Zubimendi, or Partey/Jorginho earlier, were playing in that 6 position.
He plays a very different role compared to Caicedo and offers a very different set of qualities.
All respect to Declan but Caicedo is just at a different level!
As a West Ham fan, it's lovely to see Rice thriving in a proper side, we relied on him too much. To see him play with such freedom and dominate is bittersweet but I'm glad he left. What a player. ❤
