Sam Walker asked a TikToker “do you think I’m some sort of little wool” in a heated confrontation outside Chester Crown Court. Walker approached Jamie Robinson, who has amassed hundreds of thousands of followers across various social media platforms under his Jail Tales brand, and launched into a foul-mouthed tirade after realising he was being filmed.

Mr Robinson travels to prisons and court buildings across the north west interviewing prisoners and defendants about their convictions and alleged offending. He told his followers that he was outside court to prove to Walker that he had used a donation sent to him by the 42-year-old to buy food for three homeless men.

During the video, which was filmed on an unknown date earlier this year, Mr Robinson tells Walker, dressed in a black polo shirt and jacket, “I’ve brought the receipt for you”.

But Walker responded: “You’re not recording there are you? Get that out of my face you cheeky c***. Get that out of my f***ing face lad. Do you think I’m some sort of little wool. Listen lad, get this off camera lad. Get it off camera you little grass.”

Mr Robinson replied to “come around the corner” before saying Walker had repeatedly ignored his messages. As the argument intensified, two police officers outside the court followed the men and interrupted. Walker shouted at Mr Robinson: “You’re a dirty little nonce and grass, getting the police on my case.”

The two men went their separate ways after the police intervention. In videos posted on both his TikTok and Instagram accounts this week, Mr Robinson publicly apologised for telling Walker to “come around the corner”.

He claimed Walker had sent him £100 as a donation as part of a campaign to feed the homeless, but had ignored follow-up messages. Meanwhile Walker is understood to have asked Mr Robinson for proof that the money was being used for what Mr Robinson said it was.

Walker has a significant social media following and repeatedly films and live streams what he does. He has previously filmed videos in Africa and Spain.

The ECHO understands Walker is currently facing two separate legal proceedings. He has denied an offence of sending a communication threatening serious harm at Liverpool Crown Court earlier this year and will face a three-day trial before the same court in September next year.

Walker also faces separate proceedings at Chester Crown Court. A court representative told the ECHO today, Friday, that Walker denied disclosing/threatening to disclose private sexual photographs with intent to cause distress and will appear for a pre-trial review in August next year.

The ECHO reported earlier this year that Walker failed to appear in court due to him being in hospital as a result of being stabbed and shot.

His counsel said: “Sadly, he is in A&E at Chester Hospital waiting to be seen. It is to do with a serious assault that he suffered over the summer. He was stabbed and shot in July. He says that he has been suffering problems as a result of that damage.”

Jail Tales has amassed an almost cult following with Mr Robinson often running up to prisoners and defendants and asking them a series of questions about their case. His most visited court buildings are Liverpool, Preston and Manchester.

One of his most viewed videos saw him approach Joseph Barton outside Liverpool Crown Court earlier this month and ask him if he had any regrets.

Barton had been found guilty of sending grossly offensive social media posts about broadcaster Jeremy Vine and TV football pundits Lucy Ward and Eni Aluko.
