      10 goals and 4 assists in 20 odd games. this highlight reel itself shows the few more where either great chances created by him were missed or efforts wont count as assists such as that own goal or the goal by bacetic. to have almost a goal involvement every 90 mins or so and still be called a failure? i think its a bit shameless by the media to put him under unnecessary pressure hoping he'll crumble. i swear i know few things as toxic as the english media

      I hope he becomes a great player for us I really do but you can't hide from facts.
      He will be compared with Haaland as they are both big fast forwards. Both signed for big money and both in what until recently were title winners/ challenging teams.
      In terms of goal scoring opportunities in England and the taking of those chances, out of 480 players Haaland came 1st and Nunez was 466th.
      We are so focused on him that Salah isn't getting as much of the ball and his form has dropped massively.
      For his signing to be worth the money he literally has to score enough goals to cover the drop in Salah's form and replace Mane as nobody else is scoring consistently.
      It's a huge huge ask from a player who is scoring 1 in around ten shots on target.
      If this was Rush or Fowler getting huge amounts of shots on target they would be on twenty to thirty goals already.
      Nunez etc are very lucky to be in a team that creates far more chances than teams of the past so they need to start taking them.

      He is a TEAM PLAYER. He wants the team to win. He wants to win. He wants to do well so much because of this passion. I think he'll become one of my all-time favorite Liverpool players.

      You have to look at Darwin's start at his other clubs and we won't see the Best of Darwin Nunez till next season when he went to Spain he scored goals but done better the next season and it was the same with Benfica he scored around 13 goals but the next season he blu up and he is doing very good this season already but I think we will see the best of Nunez next season.He just needs time to settle in and to learn the language and see were he fit's in with the club. YNWA
