“From the moment I played for England I said, ‘Yeah, this is me.'” Ahead of the 2018 World Cup, England striker Raheem Sterling sat down with The Players’ Tribune to talk about his journey from playing outside of Wembley, to inside and in front of tens of thousands of supporters.

  1. I barely understand what he saying… British English ten times different from the U.S, if he his speaking English then I wonder what fuck we speak in the U.S.

  2. He is a God lad and a great player, but I don't believe England and their newspapers are doing him justice. Right now he's the main person carrying England to where they are now, but do they really recognise him like that? To me No!!!

  3. Beautiful interview and beautiful family, but why is this only place you can see the real Raheem Sterling with the media desperate to do all they can to fill this positive story and his amazing ability and achievements with negativity. Peace and love
