Once again, this showed that football is a team sport. Even though the result was a loss, Sonny was incredible — he was the one really carrying the team. The coach and the teammates worked hard too, but they weren’t at their best and didn’t fully deliver what they needed to.

Sonny had been suffering from leg muscle spasms since the end of the extra time. He had muscle spasms and couldn't score a goal in the shootout. He scored two goals by himself and went all the way to extra time, but he still feels sorry for his teammates and blames himself for losing. He's a great player…and MLS needs to set a fairer environment and rules. If it's a one-off game, the conditions are not right for just one team. If it's a game of winning or losing, it should be played in a third area and avoid domed stadiums and artificial grasses. MLS should have a more systematic system for fairness and fairness.
