  1. Honestly I hate the racism problem this country I live in has. Such a joke, when someone is good at football they are GOOD AT FOOTBALL, the ball doesn't see colour so why should we.

  2. It is not just colour, it happens to foreigner too. It is part of group mentality, natural to human beings – no one tells you that.
The English media, and, of late, the Premier League referees in the VAR booth, have always said and took the craziest decisions. If you relied only on the omission of the English, German and French media in your mind, you'd never recognize Cristiano Ronaldo is the player that changed what the best player in the world should do and look like, even with regard to attitude and lifestyle.
Are the English racists, yes, it is part and parcel of group mentality, it is a form of group preservation, like so many other attitudes, some accepted by the same people who moralize racism – it is not a "bad" thing in the sense the social engineers branded it to society. A group of physically agile and skilled footballers will be "racist" against those who are fat, doubly left-footed, etc, etc – who are different from their group, albeit part of it. But it is their lack of social intelligence and vision that lets them down, and ironically, has their group attacked by foreigners at home.
If they are wrong regards Foden, they are not regards Sancho or Rashford. Let's remember, they protected both of these unprofessional players.
Finally, always remember, the media profits from controversy, and those who own it profit from a divided society.

  3. Foden glaze is crazy. Racism is still a problem. But these weren't why Bellingham is under pressure from England fans.

Good points overall. But I don't see it being Racism that is pushing Bellingham out for Morgan Rogers. It's maturity. And while I'm only talking euros 2024 really. Meaning h3 could already be much more mature. And between now and the WC he could grow also.

But any criticism of Bellingham shouldn't auto be attributed to racism

  4. sure foden doesn't do well for england, but you're forcing the palmer vs foden narrative. Foden was the clear deserving winner in the year he won PFA. Almost every goal of his was a screamer. Bellingham being marginalised is apparent and highly problematic, but you don't need to point fingers towards someone who had a slump for a year for mental health issues, didn't say much , took the blame (which there was enough of – almost every pundit tore into how foden lacks his spark and is a shell of a player ) and is now doing his best to get back into it. He has been fantastic yet again for city this year almost singlehandedly solving their build up issues. If the focus had been on the English media, and how it's the narrative they're pushing that's hurts both fronts, it'd have been so much better. Do better

  5. Thanks for covering the issue of race and racism in football it also crosses other sports here in the U.S. The media, institutions, fans and countries should be embarrassed. Ignorance, jealousy, etc. England, Spain, the U.S. amongst others all have issues with some sad, pathetic individuals pushing some very ugly and small minded narratives at the moment. You're the Goat. You not only have a high intellect but a soul. And Fodden is wildly overrated. Its shameful. Palmer should have gotten all of his minutes…

  6. It doesn't even make sense to me why this happens in football, where kids from different backgrounds are expected to join and play, and then the media does things like that

  7. this might be a hot take considering how things ended but raheem sterling was far far better of a player than phil foden was. but ofc he'll get criticised coz he is of color.
