Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy, Joy Taylor, and David Helman discuss how much blame falls on Aaron Rodgers after the Green Bay Packers missed out on the playoffs in Week 18’s 20-16 loss to the Detroit Lions. Joy weighs in and explains Rodgers deserves all the blame because he led the Packers to the biggest collapse of the season. The group then discuss whether missing out on the playoffs changes the perception of Rodgers’ career.

  1. Ya let’s blame Rodgers instead of the front office rhat gave Rodgers Allen Lazard as his best WR 😂😂 it’s crazy how biased these dumb MFers r. U can’t win football games in todays league without weapons

  2. No. The packers played well at the end of the year it should just be looked at as next year we will have a better start then this year. It was too big of a hole to dig out of at the end.

  3. If they'd made it, he'd certainly get, and take, most of the credit. It's completely silly thinking, of course, that a supposedly vital, elite, quarterback can be praised for every success while perpetually blaming everyone else and taking none himself… but welcome to Green Bay. Somehow, it's only the women on these panels who consistently don't buy into the "poor Rodgers" mindset. Who waffle the most on this question? White guys who see themselves as Aaron Rodgers.

  4. First off nobody put Rodgers in any category except Rodgers himself. That was Rodgers on the field throwing those passes and hitting those stats and records. Not one of these sports casters. First off it wasn't all on Rodgers except for the factor of the team themselves believe Rodgers can still play at that level. Rodgers had two under thrown balls in that game which is totally on him. That has been a thing with Rodgers this season is has been under throwing balls all year. Which accounts for his interceptions being so high. Yet he had four dropped balls, was sacked like three times and was under pressure 33% of his drop backs. The Lions defense came to play and ours did two. Holding the Lions to 20 points isn't bad. The difference was the two personal fouls that kept the drives going. I say all that to say this. The coach is to blame. This is the first year we got to see what this GM and Head Coach has put together. Rodgers and Cosby are all that's left as far as scoring goes. This is what this new regime has built.

  5. This was a ,laughable segment. "Rodgers is so lucky, I can't believe a number 12 had an interception negated! I can't believe Rodgers gets all the credit. Guess who gave him credit in the media? NOBODY! You absolute dips hits completely turn this around for Tom Brady. They talk as if Tom Brady has always had to carry the team and that he has never had brutal turnovers negated.

  6. No blame to Aaron. Draft a stud receiver and a couple pieces on D. They will win the superbowl. As long as he comes back

  7. To have all the numbers to back it and the mvps but only one ring…he’s the greatest least accomplished QB still top 10 though

  8. Answer: Some yes, ALL no. Give credit to the Lions, they played well. Give credit to Dan Campbel, he inspired. Give some blame to Aaron, he opted for the big play instead of taking what the defense gave him. Give some blame to Matt LeFleur, he has created a ballet team, not a football team.

  9. Based on Superbowl wins, Rodgers is not even in the top 12 QBs. No way he's the GOAT. That honor goes to Brady. And I dislike Brady nearly as much as I dislike Rodgers.

  10. Joy hit it on the money…do y'all remember when everyone use to say Peyton Manning was the greatest regular season QB but couldn't really get it done in the playoffs..all those 13-3 seasons and got bounced the first game..then he went to Denver and guess what, went 13-3 and got bounced the first game…but then he finally got that second super bowl ring even though that Denver defense carried him…the point is as of right now A-Rod has taken Peyton Manning's place as being maybe the greatest regular season QB,unless you include Drew Brees..and the difference with Brees is that he doesn't have the mvp's like A-Rod and Manning..and when it comes to rings A-Rod is in that same category with other great QB's or other QB's period that has only one ring..not only just one ring, but only been to the chip just one single time…here are 2 facts..he's one the greatest QB's to ever play to ever play the game…..and he's one of the greatest QB's that only has 1 ring…and nomatter how great he is,he still falls into the category with other QB's with only having 1 ring..we can count on our fingers all of the QB's since the super bowl era that has multiple rings nomatter how good or bad they are..and A-Rod is not included in that category simple as that..there are QB's that's not on A-Rod's level that has more rings than him..and guess what else..it's possible that a different QB this year might have the same number of rings as him if Mahomes doesn't win this year…and if Mahomes wins this year it will be another QB that has more rings than A-Rod…

  11. Rodgers needs to go. He’s like Kershaw. Great regular season performer but crumbles in the playoffs. It’s in his head too, he knows they will lose the big games no matter how smug his face looks

  12. How much blame? She says "All of it" Except one super bowl win, it has been a short season with Rodgers since then. Almost every year it was some injury or some other thing to blame. Just like when bretty faRve was QB for the Packers. One super Bowl win then years of "nothing but promises," but much more money year after year. 50 Million $ ? Teams have to learn to "Move On" after the good times.

  13. Let's give credit where it's due. The Lions played a helluva game. What I'm sick of, is announcers (after the game) saying that the "real news" wasn't the Lions win, but whether Aaron Rodgers would be back next year. Why don't you quit putting people on a pedestal, to the detriment of deserving teams? This is a big reason why I'm losing interest in professional sports. I can find other things to do with my time, than listening to the BS.

  14. Rodgers didnt fumble. Rodgers had people in his face quite a bit especially the INT. His receivers couldnt catch. Matt is inexperience and lack good play calling or challenges.

  15. Another L take from Joy. “Back to back MVP and now they aren’t in the playoffs”. That fact belongs in the column for evidence as to it not being his fault! This season is Rodgers’ fault, but not for that reason. It literally doesn’t make sense.

  16. The Mahomes comparison is irresponsible. Dude literally has the best tight end ever. Stop acting dude throwing to nobody

  17. I think you would have to be a longtime Lions fan to understand why the Lions beat the Packers. To the casual observer this was a game in which the Lions had nothing to play for, but for Detroit this was personal. Rodgers and Green Bay have owned us for so long, this was an opportunity to finally slay that dragon and do so at Lambeau, which has always been a House of Horrors for this franchise. This wasn't another game, this was like hating someone from your old neighborhood. And it shows why Dan Campbell is the right coach for this team because he gets it—He played here and understands the history of this team and its relationship with the City of Detroit. When Campbell said either Detroit was going to the playoffs or Green Bay wasn't going, he was speaking for every single Lions fans who has lived and died with this franchise for the past 60 years. Wasn't surprised at all that the Lions cleaned the Packers' clock.
