Very talented player. But equally as frustrating. And this is coming from someone who's a huge fan of his. He tends to have a lousy final touch in the final 3rd/18 yard box. And he can't take a long shot to save his life. Which is maddening because he frequently finds himself in positions in the final 3rd where taking a shot at goal would be the most practical thing to do. And he doesn't score enough. It's almost March and how many league goals has he scored? Two?
I think he's done his best work so far at Chelsea playing False nine. He and everybody else says he prefers playing 10 but for me his last pass frequently isn't good enough to play there. I think mount and ziyech are better than him in CAM. And he's no winger or CM. He's terrible when he plays in those positions.
Kai is good. But he's nowhere near great. Not yet. I think he needs to add some bite and aggression to his game. Make his presence felt a lot more during games. And just improve overall, final pass and shooting. He really needs to score more goals. That can't be stressed enough. Particularly in the league. His output in that regard is not good.
Tuchel has a diamond in his hands, I hope he gets the best of him.

People forget that he's still 22. Has everything at a decent level already. Needs to get consistent which he will with age and you have a monster.

Kai Havertz is kind of like Paul Pogba (it might seem like a strange comparison), we know the vast amounts of talent at his disposal, he just doesn't always show it. But chances are, if the game is very important, he'll be absolutely brilliant, whether for club or for country. After Kylian Mbappe (and no one can argue Mbappe's spot, stop comparing your youngsters to him), he's the second most talented young player born around those years (1997-2002), but there are others who are far more consistent than he is. He's also a very, very strange player, but it just kind of works in big games.
I think his best position would obviously be as a CAM / SS or tbh somewhere in between those two positions. Because he can operate much deeper than a number 9 role, but at the same time you don't want him to be totally distracted by midfield duties either. He honestly needs a free role on the pitch and the formation needs to be based around him. He has a lot of potential tbh.

he's gonna be a real superstar in the future. his reading of the game is incredible. he's amazing off the ball and when he's on it he has the ability to completely control the pace of the game. and he somehow performs significantly better under pressure. a lot of people tend to underrate him, but he's definitely gonna be a big time player
