      Tbf us chels fans were of the mindset that Xavi was definitely coming in because Chelsea wanted him and he was waiting for us specifically. Then even in the last min he was waiting, yet they disrespected him by stringing him along and not going for him. This really annoys the hell out of me cause he’s exactly what we needed and they promised him, in due time we’ll get you.. then didn’t. I doubt he even wanted spurs cause he waited til the very last min to see if chels would get him, and they didn’t. I think he just settled for the CL football and still technically being in London + higher wages he would’ve got at spurs more than chels. Super sad for me, wanted to buy his kit asap

      Until the age of 14 Xavi Simons was considered to be the next big thing due to his technical ability. In the last 8 years he excelled at PSV and Leipzig, but couldn't deliver in the Dutch national team. He is still only 22. If he can unlock his full potential at Tottenham Hotspur, then he can become the best player of the EPL. The question is if Simons is truly willing to give it all to succeed. Only time will tell. Like Micky, Simons is very fast. In terms of potential Simons is much better than Garnacho. I am not a big fan though of Simons as he lacks the mentality of an elite player that would give everything to be the best every single day.

      Honestly the worst part of this is that we've seemingly got Garnacho over Simons when Garnacho is a problem regardless of whether he's got talent or not. Ultimately though I wouldn't of minded if we didn't get either as I think they both have a similar problem that they both have talent…but are inconsistent as hell. They're both moment players so I would of rather we pushed the boat out to get someone like Eze when Arsenal were stalling on that deal than get either of these two.

      Disappointed tbh we didnt get this guy, but after seeing Garnacho play the past couple seasons im actually quite interested to see how he does at Chelsea surrounded by actual ballers.

      If Chelsea actually wanted him, needed him, were desperate for him like Spurs were for a CAM then we would have signed him weeks ago. Let’s be honest.

      im reducing Chelsea.expectation… top 4 aim.. reality 5th-6th fight all season. major target to win as many cup trophies. cant believe have to rely on Tosin only.

      I'm gutted the deal didn't go through.. but with our history with Leipzig players.. I feel a bit it might actually be for good.. all the same.. Chelsea will still have nothing to worry.. nd they will still beat spurs 😅😅
