He has a bit of the traits from Dutch legends Cruyff and van Hanegem. Dominant midfield dribbling, acceleration, interceptions, passing. Let's see if this generation with guys like Frenkie, van Dijk and Memphis will earn their place within the all time great XI of Oranje. Hopefully they will do this by lifting a cup in Qatar! Van Gaal for sure seems to be making the most of this generation while implementing typical Dutch football ideas. Just hope there will also be thought of typical Dutch drawbacks which made us lose matches we shouldve won (such as Ajax v Tottenham in 2019, little to much blind attacking while being vulnerable in the back).
