Bruno Fernandes has been called “Mr. Hollywood,” “a liability,” and “too emotional.” But what if I told you he’s changed?

In this video, I break down exactly why Bruno Fernandes has quietly become one of the most complete midfielders in the Premier League.
From his disciplined passing and defensive work to his evolution in Amorim’s 3-4-3 system — I’ll show you the clips and stats that prove Bruno is doing far more than fans (and pundits) give him credit for.

  1. Its the hope they keep giving us at half time 😂😂😂that turns into frustration because most of the strikers miss those chances every time in the game so let's control our expectations not to throw our players under the bus they have done well so far with a little bit of support we will be there

  2. Have to disagree with your takes here. If fans what to cheer Bruno as a player I’ll listen but as a 6-8 Bruno is awful. I’d agree I’ve seen him stop the constant Hollywood ball which is progress but that it but I don’t blame him as he doesn’t pick himself. Bruno has a bad first touch, isn’t press resistant, can’t travel with the ball, has terrible defensive positioning and his tackling isn’t good enough. These are all essential traits needed for a 6/8 in the EPL and in this 343 system. There are countless examples of his first touch getting him tackled in dangerous defensive positions, getting caught trying to drive out, being out of position so gets run past or taken out the game with a simple pass and that’s before the eye test shows me all the ground duels he loses. Due to his engine and constant running he will be in position now and again to intercept a pass but the fact his always running back towards his own goal to tackle the player his marking shows is lack of positional sense him switching off in defensive situations which I again don’t blame him for. I know what Bruno is and he frustrated me as a 10 so as a 6 he drives me mad. I always said I like Bruno as a false 9 as I want him as far from the build up as possible, Bruno do your thing in the final third only. Some of the stats you used are a little misleading. If you play a No10 at CB he will have lots of pass accuracy but I want to know how many headers he won and if he was dribbled pass or run off not the amount of cross field switches they do.

  3. But I've been told by other YouTubers and online fans that Bruno is shit at everything and always deserves to be subbed off no matter what. Everything is always his fault all the time. Surely you're trying to gaslight me.

Bruno is a perfect example to prove that confirmation bias exists. lol Those same fans call him El Bomba, Grenade Launcher, Hollywood Ball FC every time he plays a (usually good) long ball, but they never notice (or refuse to give him credit) when he makes the good, short passes or controls the tempo by not playing it long. It's unbelievably frustrating to see "fans" like Goldbridge moan about Bruno for 10 minutes after the Spurs game, acting like everything is always Bruno's fault. I want Bruno to stay at United as long as possible, but these "fans" won't know what they've got until it's gone. It's sad.

  4. I really liked this one. I don't understand everybody complaining about Bruno in midfield, especially when we finally have more players scoring goals. Thank you for bringing data to the discussion.

  5. How is everyone saying Cunha played better than Sesko ? When Sesko came on in the Spurs game he totally changed the game and we actually have some one that can hold the ball upfront. Cunha is just another Rashford, with less goals.

  6. 9:13 – I was mad at Amad not Bruno. I noticed Bruno's intent straight away and didn't understand why Amad stood still and didn't create the passing line. If you pay attention, most of our players are quite static and don't really create passing lines to others.
I see many people bashing Bruno all the time, but that guy is a legit genius when it comes to vision. His main problem is that players don't usually understand his intent or take the best advantage of his created chances.

16:43 – Yet, I can't be that sure when Rice and Enzo stats are for the past 365 days all across the big 5 leagues when compared to Brunos (both) of this season only in the PL.

  7. I think we are showing character as a team with maguire and de ligt standing up for their offensive duty in headers but it's not enough tbh. We’re lacking defensive quality. De Ligt deserves credit for his individual defensive work(top 3 CB in the league this season) , but we’ve conceded too many goals from crosses. Someone needs to take responsibility and take control of this — 18 goals conceded in 11 games is the 5th worst in the league not good.

  8. A pragmatic Bruno is more dangerous than the chaotic one.

Amorim’s system doesn’t just require footballing skills but more importantly footballing IQ which no one else has more than Bruno.

  9. He definitely has improved a lot but United still need to sign 2 midfielders to replace already departed Eriksen and soon to be departed Casemiro. So when the 2 midfielders come, with Kobbie, Collyer/Ugarte (whoever stays) and Bruno, we'll have a much better squad depth and so we wouldn't need to play Bruno every single minute of every single game (for his sake).

  10. Thats Amad's mistake for not anticipating that pass, its criminal, he has to. During the match, I was expecting Amad to move up even before Bruno made the pass, unfortunately he wasnt in the same wavelength with Bruno.
