Pre-match press conference with England head coach Thomas Tuchel ahead of England’s World Cup qualifier against Serbia at Wembley Stadium.
Tuchel emphasised that qualification is already secured but this match will not be treated as a dead rubber. He said the team will remain serious, focused and committed to building momentum.
He confirmed that Marcus Rashford is in a good place and fully part of the squad, welcomed back Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden into the group, and explained that the competition between Bellingham and Morgan Rogers for the No.10 position is “friendly”.
Key injury updates: Marc Guéhi is a doubt with a foot injury, and replacements Trevoh Chalobah and James Trafford have been called into the squad after Anthony Gordon and Nick Pope withdrew.

Good job Thomas. Greets from Germany.
Most articulate England manager I've seen in years.
Good manager
Great manager 💯💯💯💯
Trashford deserves it just don't rely on him when the chips are down. Weak mentality. He's happy being the hammer and then cries when he is the nail.
Enjoy trashy while u can. He’s a purple patch player. More bad form than good. Once he’s patch is over, even a championship winger is better than him
Have Faith in This Man never have we had a better chance of getting the job done in (many moons)
Go on Tuchel🎉
nice one Beanyman
We are going to struggle with a high press in the world cup because of the heat
Takes a German to finally communicate in a language we can all understand.
He is unbelievably selfconfident and still always open and friendly. A lot of German managers could learn from him, especially Nagelsmann. You are definetely better off with Tuchel than we are with Nagelsmann.
Here's a huge question for everyone: why does England fail to create managers/head coaches of tuchels quality?
Take a look at all of the greatest managers/head coaches throughout the history of football, how many were/are English?!
The only ones I can think of are Sir Bobby Robson and Sir Alf Ramsey.
Take a look at the English managers that have worked in the premier league, Sean dyche, Sam allerdyce, Eddie Howe, Steve McLaren, Gareth Southgate etc, are they really elite class managers/coaches? How many english managers manage abroad and achieve success?
Why aren't English ex pros interested in becoming England boss?
Why and how do Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, France, holland etc. keep producing top class elite managers/coaches but England doesn't?
England doesn't seem to fail at creating elite brains in various other areas of industry, so why do we fail at football?
Something is very very wrong with English football!
I’m so happy this dude is our manager. He isn’t going to pander to our incompetent media who have destroyed every single chance we have had in my life time.
Maybe playing with Harry Kane makes a difference. Rashford is inconsistent
Does anyone know if Cole will be earning a place in squad this guy definitely deserve it
This journalist Rob… absolutely no idea what he's talking about. Asking questions nobody wants the answer to. Toxic journalism
Tuchel, has taken to international management, like a duck to water.
I love the way he deals with stupid questions.
Tuchel genuinely thinks he can win the world cup. As an Englishman watching this it's refreshing to see someone so confident.
Pls play my king jude❤
Anyone think Mason Greenwood should be in the squad?
I think it's time to bring Greenwood back into the fold, Kane is currently the only inform English striker in the recent squad, Greenwood has 9 goals in 11 games he should be given another chance.
You can tell tuchell not impressed with Rob Dorsett (sky TV)!!. Can't say i blame him, always asking idiotic questions and trying to create problems within the camp
Under this idiot engeland will never win another world cup. They were lucky in 1966,so he talks to much. Typical German stubborn
I really hope there’s at least one friendly against a top side between now and the World Cup. They’ve done everything right so far and are playing an inspiring style, but there’s only one way to see if it will translate to top teams
Rashford does deserve to be there as does foden and Bellingham on CURRENT form, foden this is last chance saloon, tuchel unlike southgate won't be afraid to not take foden to the world cup if he doesn't perform.

Thomas tuchel has the best bond villan voice
England are now a pleasure to watch , rather than a nail biting bore
Same old questions.
Same answers.
England has No chance against Spain or France or Holland or Brazil or Argentina
England fans need to move away from the meat pie sausage roll past/era. Go Disney.
I'm starting to warm to tuchel. Players will play for him
"We deal with things when we come to it", as the overpaid people say.
Wise words from TT, it just doesn't work those three together. They get in each others way or Foden ends up as a winger, which he isn't Clearly Kane as captain and England's best striker will, if fit, start the big games. So for those games it's Foden or Bellingham, or Rogers, or Palmer? Football is a squad game, so we need more than one 10, question is how many. Maybe one of the 10s plays 8, but as Sergeant Wilson used to say, 'do you think that's wise, sir?'
rob dawson show no respect at all….does he even qualify to be commenting on football
