A player wouldnt find it hard to be an accurate passer if all but most of the time he passed the ball backwards and sideways.In this compilation i only saw joe allen COMPLETE 3 forward passes none of which split the defence open. il also remind you of our previous DOF, damien comolli who was a big admirer of statistics and went and bought with KD, andy,henderson and downing.besides if we go by your facts we should be looking at leon britton aswell right???
If Liverpool FC signed Joe Allen our midfield would be brilliant as we already have Lucas,Henderson,Aqualini,Joe Cole and Adam as well to choose from. Loan out Jonjo Shelvey and Jay Spearing for a season plus I hope Raheem Sterling becomes our new Regular right winger for us hes a star in the making forget Walcott and Dempsey. Possible starting Lineup in 4 2 1 3 formation. Reina,Johnson,Carragher,Agger,Enrique,Lucas,Allen,Sterling, Borini,Suarez.

Allen is a fantastic young player, I can't understand how some people can't see it. He's everything you want in a midfielder playing in his role,like a young faster Paul Scholes he keeps things running smoothly in midfield and helps it on to Suarez, Gerrard etc so they can do damage to other teams.. Gerrard, Lucas, Allen, in a midfield 3 would be pure class..

Cazorla's 27 coming 28, Of course he's going to have more experience and have won more things (Which isn't hard with spain, and probably contributed nothing to the European championship's) Cazorla = £16 Million/Allen=£15Million, And I bet you have never watched him play for Malaga last season (& Just saying he is "World Class") And you go on about us not spending our money wisely yet you have piss poor defenders and all you focus on is attackers…Yer good one 😉

I never said that about Adams, Downing, Henderson or Carroll I was hoping the 4 of them were good but I never really watched them play except Downing and I was against buying him because I wanted Mata at the time.. I've watched Allen all last season playing brilliant for Swansea and at only 22 Allen is just what Liverpool need.. Kenny wasted the money hence he was fired.. Rodgers is a smart man, he never would've bought the 4 players you mentioned..
Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla aren't premier league proven and Allen is, so there's little risk, especially because Allen has already played for Rodgers and will fit right in to Liverpool's passing and attacking system. I've watched a lot of Allen and I honestly think he's well worth £15m. He never gives the ball away and he's a smooth passer with pace and he works really hard, but we'll only find out who's right after a few months into the premier league season.
Again, they were bought by Kenny that's nothing to do with Rodgers. Rodgers has the ability to get the best out of players like Wenger used to. Allen is gonna be top class and bossing Liverpool's midfield for years to come. He's miles ahead of Aaron Ramsey in class and Ramsey plays a lot for Arsenal, also while we're talking about buys Podolski looks total garbage and easily the worst player in the German team and Giroud could be the new Chamakh.

Well I think Kenny used to be but the modern game was too much for his old 80's tactics. Rodgers is only 39 (5 years older than Carragher) and only starting out, so you can't really say he's done nothing without giving him time. I wonder how long it will be before Liverpool are playing better passing/attacking football than Arsenal 😀
Looking at Liverpool's last match I was really impressed how the football flowed.

No…. Rafa wanted Alonso out and Gareth Barry in. When we lost a deal on Gareth Barry, Alonso (understandably) felt pushed out. The following season handed in a transfer request, hence his move to Madrid. Rafa pushed him out not the owners.
Swansea in my opinion played the most attractive football in England last season so I think in a couple of seasons and better (non KD's players) Liverpool will be playing football as good as any in England. I watched the Arsenal match they played well, but it was against a bottom German team so Podolski was right at home. Some of Chamakh's goals were in England tho and creative wise only 22 assists in 216 games in a really easy league is a terrible record for Giroud.
Swansea taught Arsenal a footballing lesson last time you's played and I liked the way Swansea pass it around dominating and controlling other teams. Arsenal and City score more goals that's true but for me it's the whole package.
Well the season is starting tomorrow and I'll have one eye on Giroud and Cazorla so we'll have a better assessment.

Then Rafa had no choice but to sell. Liverpool has gone titts up ever since and Rafa was the one who started the ball rolling.
Seems like Joe Allen plays good every game and so far for Liverpool he's been brilliant. I wouldn't been surprised if at the end of the season he got voted Liverpool player of the season but I have a feeling the exciting Sterling will win it..
If you're a Liverpool fan you're an absolute disgrace. Same thing was said about Lucas and he came good, Not too long ago same thing was said about Henderson and he's been playing outstanding. Joe Allen is only 22 years old and has plenty of time to grow as a player, and he had a great first half of the season but is out of form. He will only strive to improve with the added competition of Coutinho as well. You're supposed to support our players not slate them during rough patches.

@iYNWA Rafa didn't ruin Liverpool but he started the ball rolling by selling Alonso. We have never as good since the day Alonso left.
