Why act quickly?
Whatever get rid of him fine but there has to be some accountability for the Reyna family. Ridiculous soccer mom and helicopter parenting.

Why is this still a question? What did he do to show that he's worthy of coaching a team with home field advantage?
In order for this to coaching search to be real, Earney, Brian, and anyone else involved in this issue from start to finish should be gone. This should include Cindy Parlow-Cone since she is the one in charge overall. She wasn't there when GGG was hired but she has been there long enough to see how things are being run and make necessary changes.
Gregg is just bad business at this point. USF looks weak
It's time for new leadership not just a new coach. This culture of nepotism and ignoring personal boundaries needs to stop now.

I disagree that Berhalter should be sacked for what happened 31 years ago. I do think we need a new manager however due to Berhalter essentially reaching his peak with USMNT and the fact that he let the Gio Reyna situation continue with his "private" speech.
Berhalter is done, and the next coach will be MLS stooge Josh Wolff. There will be no search. The fix is already in.
Let's hope so.

Punishing GB for a 31 yr old incident when he was 18 involving his now 25 year wife is UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. He should be gone for disclosing locker room stuff publicly and not being that good at his job. The Reyna's should be banned from US Soccer for life. What cheap, low-blow, mudslinging. Despicable. For me he was finished when he constantly messed around with his lineup for the 2 years leading up to the WC, then when he was tactically inflexible at the WC that was the nail in his coffin. The rest of this drama with Reyna is an afterthought for me
Berhalter shouldn't continue based on his skill level. The rest was a sad soap opera from entitled parents.
Honestly, I don’t really care that much. Gio and his family have acted disgracefully, Berhalter is an adequate coach and nothing more and most importantly, the USMNT is just not very good and won’t be even when the WC is played here. I love football and am heartened by the notion that it’s increasingly more popular here in the US. It will NEVER achieve the status of Baseball, Basketball and American Football for a simple reason, Americans view it as a foreign sport. End of! Also, our best athletes don’t clamor to play soccer, they gravitate to the other major sports, and as a result we will, for the foreseeable future, be a middling team.
I use to be indifferent about GGG, but the amount of hate the fan base has for him from day one made be more and more sympathetic with GGG. I'm glad he benched Reyna and I'm glad he lead the team throughout this cycle to the dismay of the anti-GGG camp and watching them squirm in anger on social media LMAO. Y'all couldn't even give him credit for the positives. USMNT fan base has become more like the toxic Mexican fambase a no d their sports journalist. Garbage.
