  1. If you want to be respected as a Liverpool legend, you don't spend months telling fans you are staying whilst on the side learning perfect Spanish. That doesn't happen overnight. That's the issue

  2. How is it ridiculous? football is very tribal… he left to go to one of our big Champ League rivals… So, if he goes to them, he's gonna get sh!t… Anyway it wasn't about Trent, it was about Liverpool football club gettin back on track…

  3. I don’t think any of them watch Real Madrid play, so I doubt don’t know why him is disappointed. Maybe that because he wanted Madrid to win. Every Real Madrid player got booed including Trent. Let’s not make a meal of it. Basically they just need something to talk about

  4. Roy Keane got it right , Liverpool fans have always thought they were above all other fans when in reality they are scum. Booing a Liverpool legend like Trent. Totally classless . Compare them to the Madrid fans who all joined in with the applause for the other Liverpool legend Diego Jotta. 😮

  5. Simon Jordan does make good points sometimes.

HOWEVER; there is literally no point in disagreeing or arguing with him. It’s like debating with a brick wall.

Just roll your eyes, shake your head, say “okay”, and move on. He’s arrogant af and you’ll get nowhere. You can tell he absolutely thinks he’s always the most intelligent person in the room.

  6. Pundits saying how bad booing Trent is a joke.
Trent refused to sign a new deal. He knew he was going 2 years ago. He was only out for himself. That’s why the fans are angry.
He made his choice. What does he expect.

  7. If LFC wasn’t winning and competing for UCL, he will be forgiven (McMananman)

If he wasn’t a local lad, he will be forgiven.

If he had left with a proper deserving fee, he will be forgiven (Torres, Suarez)

If he wasn’t given a lucrative contract by LFC, he will be forgiven.

If he hadn’t plan his departure, such as learn Spanish in advance, he will be forgiven.

But he didn’t… for the pundits who criticize the fans for booing, u r not a local fan, you cannot empathize with them.

  8. Simon Jordan espouses (or at least pretends to espouse, for clicks' sake) an owner's narrative.
The fans (thank God) ,do not see it this way. Trent is a Scouse boy. He got to play for his childhood club. LFC as much made him what he is, as he helped make them (under Klopp) what they were. He then chose to leave in the manner that he did. Compare and contrast with Guehi (much as I hate that we didn't get him, much as he WANTED to come,) full respect for the man he is.
I wish no ill for Trent, but I will boo anyone who does the same to our great club

  9. So Gerrard is a legend and couldn't win or end Liverpool drought of 31 years without title ɓut, Trent is not and he deserves to be booed . Very sick fans

  10. Suarez got booed when he came to play at Anfield for Barca and we still adore him. Torres got it for Chelsea…….. When your favourite players leave to sign for a rival it hurts. Football thrives on emotion. When Trent finishes his career, I can virtually guarantee he will be welcomed back in Liverpool. But not right now. Simon Jordan says "you can't have emotion in football" Well, I disagree. Any fan; if you feel hurt, that's ok. If you feel elated, that's ok. If you feel frustrated, that's ok…….. Talksport has become too clickbait now.

  11. Totally agree with Danny, Slot wasn't saying that he wants teams to play differently against him he was just stating why he felt they lost some games. And yes he was frustrated, but it is frustrating when teams sit back and play long balls, its annoying, but no one is saying they can't or shouldn't do that. Slot knew all along, as any manager does, thats the game, thats just something you have to learn to overcome and he said that, that they need to find a way to overcome those challenges. Plenty of managers have understandably complained about this style of football for years. People used to complain about Mourinho's style for most of his time at Chelsea, but no one denied that he stll deserved to win everything that he did.

  12. Trent wasn't like any other player at Liverpool. He was like a son. The expected loyalty from him was high. Steve Gerald was approached countless times by teams but out of love and loyalty for the club he chose to stay. Liverpool showed how important Trent is for the club and was on the way to being the future captain of the club. Because Liverpool didn't mean as much as he claimed it meant for him, he left the way he did. If Players Mo Salah chose to stay when they should have followed the money . Trent was the most expected to stay at the club.

  13. I don’t support the reaction on TAA, but are you lacking ability to think straight? Journalism with healthy provocation is still different from you are being a bunch of ridiculous clown.

  14. It’s not because Trent left
It’s all about THE WAY he left !
He was sly, he lied to his fans, he was fake and dishonest……
    He deserved the booos !
