It’s simple. If the front isn’t pressing, the high line can’t work.. add the factor; Iñigo gone and Kounde not in form then you have a huge problem. It is crazy that Lamine was in front off Rafinha for the Ballon D or… Rafinha is underrated! Good for Dembele but fuck him!! Rafinha was balling last season. True leadership. On the field and off the field. I think Flick is handling this quite well. Remember. You can’t win everything. This is foorball! If you looked at KOUNDE you notice something is wrong with him since the beginning of the season and for that being the case playing Eric Garcia at RB will really help more than KOUNDE right now.

olmo and de jong lack barca quality, de jng talks too much and affects too little… casado is not who he was and pedri is overworked. Its pretty clear the mid lacks defense and attack prowess….

also compared to last season, we have been conceding first a lot. last season, we were ripping teams apart in the first half itself and they didn't have a chance coming back after that

Due to flick barca has probably transformed into one of the most entertaining team to watch since Enrique 's. Thats enough for me. I am old enough to remember we used to value beautiful football once. When result based ugly football was reserved for others.

Are- fatigue/ injuries and a lack of hunger and coordinated press- look at kompany's Bayern and how they press.
Barca needs to time it well and win the 2nd ball.
But its tough when forwards are not being clinical or when the fullbacks are playing like trash(losing balls and misplacing passes).
Though i agree until we go back to form or recover to 100% we should make some tweaks.
Bayern plays high line like Barcelona and a lot of teams play this high line….Barcelona is only famous for it because they made it clear to people and outplayed everyone. The problem is not about the high line but the players are not playing to their best and that will hurt the team

The tactics is not the problem , our first problem is Ferran , second problem is Araujo, the third problem is injury, fourth problem is abandoning Cubarsi and Christiansen, because that's the real defence duo we can rely on and then try Bernal instead of Casado and try get the best out of Kunde and Balde

Those still emphasising on the pressing, while we agree with you, but can two things be true in your own world?
– Can you agree that last season is not this season
– Can you agree that towards the end of last season, teams started figuring out the highline even with our "Inigo"
– Can you agree that pressing or not we have only caught our opponents offside 5x lesser compared to the same stage in all competitions last season… speaks volume on how even small teams have figured out the highline
– Can you agree that Highline never in history has ever been intended to be a permanent stayle of play, it was always made to be temporary… your whole plan cannot depend on Highline for 2 seasons straight
– Can you finally agree that Spain plays similar football to us, yet they achieve the so called Barca DNA(high press, quick counter, possession) kinda game "Without a Highline"!!!!
And we have many of our players playing for Spain, so they can achieve same in Barca!!! 😭🤦🏾♂️

I think that Flick's success last season was not a fluke. He knew what he was doing, and the same applies here. If he attributes the dip in form to injury, then it really is injury. This guy is a footballing genius. I trust his judgment. However, if we have all our key players back and the team is still not performing well, then I will concede and say that indeed the team needs to change strategy.
