Jamie Carragher hammered United players like Casemiro, Ronaldo, and Lisandro Martinez in the name of punditry. Van Dijk should see those things first and comment. Rooney was far more lenient than Jamie Carragher while assessing the performance of Van Dijk.

It will be interesting to see Thomas Frank's level with a bigger club like Tottenham. I personally think his style is not suited for one of the bigger teams as he is not known to be a possession dominant manager. If he does not win a single trophy after two seasons, Ange Postecoglou will be more successful so he has a big challenge on his hands.

Right… Tottenham didnt win The Europe League… they won a trophy im yet to ascertain what trophy it was but it wasnt that. It was the 1st season they removed all the top teams from the competition by not dropping teams down from the champions league… that it is the only reason the 16th and 17th worst teams in the Prem played the final. Its an insult to every other team thats won that competition to say its the same trophy. If you remove all the best teams from a competition…. its not the same competition! 😂 if you removed the best 6 teams from the FA cup… it wouldnt be the FA cup anymore!! As of last year the Community Shield is definitively harded to win than the trophy Spurs won as you have to finish either 2nd or 1st in the league or win the FA cup which is harded to do than winning the new competition that Spurs won without all the top teams…… the Uefa Cup/Europa League competition is no longer by definition and shouldnt just call it the same thing its lying about the prestige of it.
