🚨 Mark Goldbridge questions Rúben Amorim’s comments after the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
Amorim pointed out the tactical “problem” with Diogo Dalot being on the “wrong side” for his strong foot, which stops him from crossing. Why are you complaining about that problem when you bought Patrick Dorgu, a natural left-footer, specifically for that role? A manager has to back his new signing and play him, not keep using Dalot out of position and then highlight it as the reason things aren’t working.

He's not a wingback. Period. He's an average rb
Dalot is your project this year yet u have bo problem with Shaw strolling through the Match and his career at United .
Jose came second ans won 3 trophies lmao. You guys are clueless
So the fans and mark goldbridge knows better than the manager because you're watching a game every week? what a stupid thing to say. He's the manager, he's watching the team and players every day of the week, saying that fans know more than manager, who are watching a game per week is a joke. Manager must have some reasons he's starting donkey dalot over others, mark is a really good entertainer but I think his opinions are lame
Dalot is amorims gay lover simple as that you cant providecany justification for dalot
Dalot the new "Escape Goat"
If you think the club will prioritize a new LWB, with the midfield and Maguire contract situations, you're crazy.
Wow these comments are angry and dumb.
Amorim is talking like a politician
Dalot compolations camong
Convinced that Dalot plays purely for long throws
I think we’re putting Amad in at RWB when he isn’t really best suited to playing there either. But I get it because for his weaknesses he brings strengths too. Much like Bruno in midfield, but then I don’t have an agenda against Bruno like mark does…
Leave out dalot and were playing without a striker because sesko is rubbish
We had Alvaro Carreras at Real but we stucked at left back with Dalot since Jose Mourinho😅
Dalot is not a starter he should be benched.
Even Dorgu is average, not good in crossing, cuhna is just suffering alone in that left hand side.
He tries his best but his best is no where near good enough it’s as simple as that he was loaned out because he wasn’t good enough then he’s not improved since his loan
Yes, Dalot is really bad and his lapse of cencentration in defence will kill the club. But SO is Dorgu. Dorgu have couple of lapses in concentration as well. Dorgu has more energy but he too can't cross and he too lack the spatial awareness around him. So that left side is a weakness.
Instead of keep scapegoating one player after another, view the collective mistakes of the team. This defence struggles to head the ball away without Maguire.
I would love to see a stat on how many times Dalot passes the ball backwards instead of progressing the game forward.
Amorim may not critic Dalot in the open but he will definately chastise him inside. He has been playing shit
Amorim has one issue, he has a bit of Portuguese based nepotism. He never picks homegrown players and prefers Portuguese players. Why does he refuse to play Mainoo!?
I disagree. At this point RA knows better than all manutd fans on his best team and the players that perform the highest. Dalot must be a great player in training and also not wanting to break Dorgu’s confidence when he isnt performing well. Besides he’s supposed to be for the future. It’s a balancing act and I doubt manutd fans understand that or know how to mange the team better than RA. Stop this ridiculous narrative.
This team has so many holes and there are other factors fans cannot understand simply due to proximity, experience and technical understanding.
5 minutes of lapses that cost Man U 2 goals and managed to salvage a point speaks volume of the team mentality and cohesion as a team. Man U is not ready to be a force to reckon with for the following reasons:
1. The team is formed recently and players have not gelled to play like a cohesive and effective team.
2. The manager is changing player positions to try to find the best fit and is destructive of the morale and rhythm of the team.
3. The two goals showed that Lemmens positioning and reflex savings have to be greatly improved.
4. Sesko is not scoring enough goals and in the last game he is more a passenger than a driver.
5. Man U needs a prolific and consistent striker who can score 25 goals per season.
6. There is no European football to test the ability and versatility of the newly formed team.
In the meantime I have a high dose of skepticism that Man U is out of the woods. I would await the results of the next nine games with bated breath.
He’s a decent RB, but absolutely he is not capable of anything else
Absolutely right ,
Mark, bit thick are we? Amorim did not buy any of these players. Owners buy players,Managers do not buy players! Please read this and say the truth.
omg Dorgu's form is just as inconsistent as Dalot's, and his top games so far is still lower than Dalot's good matches. Should have bought Ait-Nouri in the summer instead of Sesko, would have actually solved so many real problems, MC got him for only 5m higher than Dorgu's 31m price.
Man United fans still negative about man united after a good set of results 3 wins and a draw in the last four games
Give Leon a go
Yeah need to get rid of dalot
This loss was mostly Amorim’s fault he played dalot on the left when he struggles with hes weak foot. Should be 3rd choice rwb. And also didn’t play mainoo, mount and zirkzee when the front 3 didn’t perform. He reminding me of slot abit to be honest with this lack of giving others a go. This leads to injuries aswell.
See how things turn a round because they didn't win and quick to blame players. 🤦🏻♂️
This Man spent all this time pointing out the obvious faults of Ruben Amorim…. but still backs him as the right Man for United.
And the shocking thing is….he’s right about everything he says about Amorim.
Every Manager plays his favorites but those players have to be performing and have quality.
Dalot has neither, yet still plays. The treatment of Zirksee and Mainoo borders on criminal. Not because they are playing well and he doesn’t use them, but because he provides them with the least opportunity to play at all and then as in the case of Mainoo refused to let them go . Sure does build confidence for players on your team doesn’t it.
Amorim is not a top Manager and not the right guy for United.
