  1. I'm with you Drew, our decades of misery are coming to an end and there's a shining light at the end of the tunnel. USA is on its way, look out world!

  2. If was a dual national I would want to play for America, it's an up-and-coming team in an up-and-coming market. If I can get a foothold into the American team I can market myself better in America and make way more money than being on the England team or on the German squad. We see Pulisic at Chelsea selling so many Chelsea and Dortmund shirts, we see with the women's team Americans buying Man City Lavelle and Mewis shirts. And I feel like we need to get potential dual-national players into business meetings and tell them not only about how great this team is going to be but also how much money is going to be in their pockets at the end of the day.

  3. You hit the nail on the head.
We have a chance with Alex Mighten and Folarin Balogun. If I had to choose one, I would take Alex in a heartbeat. Sure, we have Pulisic as our left winger but I see Alex as our LB of the future. He could be our American version of Alfonso Davies

  4. The only negative about losing Efraín Alverez is that i feel he would play extra fired up against Mexico. Kinda like how Carlos Vela really gets in gear against Mexico.

  5. I think Alvarez did not chose to play for the Mexican Olympic team because that would have locked him in to Mexico. By playing the friendlies with the Mexican senior team it does not lock him in. It also gives him the opportunity to compare the US Men's senior team versus the Mexican Men's senior team. If Alvarez choses Mexico he could end up like Jonathan Gonzalez where he has not played for them after choosing them.

  6. Sorry, I don't see him as a lock starter. He either players as a midfielder (where McKennie or Reyna starts) or as a RW (where Weah starts). In current form, I'd take Weah over him as a winger. I think Musah is more of a natural midfielder and unfortunately for him we are loaded there.

  7. I wouldn’t say he is a locked starter, but he is definitely on the plane to the 2022 WC at this moment for me…

Things can change from now till then

But definitely commitment from Yunus is a great coup for the USMNT

I would love Alvarez, because he brings something we don’t have much if at all in the player pool, but he Is also not a locked starter

  8. You are way off on Efraín Álvarez. He has the potential to one of the best to come out of the US. There isn't another American player with his soccer IQ.

  9. 6:25 you mention about how Alvarez could be playing against Llegtet and Araujo. You forget, Galaxy also have Dos Santos and Chicharito. As a Galaxy fan, I'm excited to potentially see 5 Galaxy players in a US vs Mex gold cup game! It'll be so insane!

  10. I think he is nobody , it's not hating I think you have some soccer fans get excited just to get excited, he is unproven and nobody knows who he is.

  11. I wish the energy was just was much given with regular Nationals compared to dual Nationals, AMERICAN soccer has always been Foreign
