      At first I thought he was only a CDM. But after watching a couple of videos of him, he looks like a better version on Gini.

      He's very aggressive, very energetic. Excellent tackling and pressing. He has similarities with Camavinga and Bissouma. Much more defensive and aggressive than them but they have better better passing, shooting, and ball control. That's why I see him as an upgraded version of Gini or maybe a Fabinho with better engine.

      Our system is pressing, very persistent pressing. Our success is built on the backs on Hendo and Gini.
      Klopp even mentions this in an interview, pressing is the best chance creation. Better and having a CAM.

      But we will have to battle with Real to sign him ; which will make his price more expensive. Real is looking for a Casemiero replacement. The last few games Klopp has shown he has preferred a Fabinho-Thiago-Keita- midfield, hints for Hendo will become a rotation and a impact sub. But I don't think Klopp trusts Keita as a starter to play for majority of games. He simply isn't that fit.

      Hence I think he will make a good signing and a much better signing than a Jude Bellingham type player. Altho I'm a big fan of Bellingham, but I think his defensive qualities are not up to our standards. And we have also Fabio Carvalho whom I think will mainly play as an attacking 8 or 10 or as a winger. With Ox, Milner, Hendo leaving / aging. C.Jones looking most like as a rotation player. I think a box to box midfielder will be our priority signing. But I have no doubts our scouts have scouted Tchoumeini extensively. Should we sign him I'd be a very happy fan, altho it's becoming increasingly unlikey due to Real Madrid showing an interest. And looking at the past transfer windows, our club doesn't like bidding wars. But because of our success in the transfer market, I put absolutely trust in our club the get the player most suited to our system.
