Goals from Ethan Nwaneri and Bukayo Saka helped us progress to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup with a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
Mikel Merino’s fine flick helped start a flowing team move, rounded off by Nwaneri early in the first half, before substitute Saka powered in a second of the contest on 76 minutes.
The result means we’ve reached to the last eight for a second season in a row and marked our 250th match in the competition with a victory.

As an arsenal fan i didn't really care for this match, because to me it seems arteta doesn't want to win, starting our worst players, I'm not saying they're bad, they're just not our best, I've noticed he brought on our weakest players in the entire carabao cup and is only focusing on champions league and pl, i feel winning this is not on the top of his list, i actually wanted us to lose against Brighton so i don't have to watch this embarrassing football, Brighton deserved to win but their players are trash to be missing such big chances. The entire match was a joke

Andre Harriman annous must be so frustrated. HE had 1 clear cut chance and fumbled it even though saka scored he didn't celebrate he stood kn his own in disappointment
